    I've been wandering around YouTube for hours on end as of late, and I stumbled across a Sonic Generations mod, Scourge Generations! And I must say, Scourge's model looks amazing! Then I got thinking "What's stopping SEGA from just completely buying the Freedom Fighters (Besides obvious money problems), and handing them over to Sonic Team to use in Sonic games? OPINIONS, GO!

      And yet, people still love Silver. So Sonic 06 is not a valid excuse here

      What I mean is, Sonic 06's massive character roster and different gameplay styles, along with the fans wanting to play as just Sonic, was what caused SEGA to only use Sonic in future titles, with other characters not named Tails, Knucles and Amy just being thrown into the spin-off titles. (The only exeption to this was arguably Sonic Rivals 2.)

      Don't get me wrong, I like Silver as a charcater (well, mostly the comic version), but unless a game with multiple playable characters (i.e. Sonic Boom) succeeds, then SEGA will likely continue to be very skeptical on adding in more characters.
