Christmas role-play?

"My name is Ash Mongoose. Call me Ash doc" said Ash as he got the pain meds  and gave them to the Doctor.

 

G' s emotional struggle was clearly taking a role as he fell to his knees dropping the box he was carrying. As the box hit the floor it opened and a chaos emerald fell out of it.

Myra muffled a shout of surprise when she saw the chaos emerald. "Well, that may be why." She said, "Where did you get that?"

"Thanks, Ash." The doctor replied and took the meds. She counted out a few and handed them to Techno, "These should help."

"What.. is it?" beeped Myra's phone.

[Seviper the Fang Snake 368]

"Of course it had to be that. Been a while since I've one." Said Boulder 

 

Techno took the meds.

"It's a chaos emerald, a freakin chaos emerald!" Myra replied.

The doctor continued to treat Techno, "What happens exactly? These aren't burns from a typical fire..." She asked.

"That.... would explain... Eggman's interest," beeped the phone

"I got turned into fried chicken by an eggman bot." Replied Techno

Amy looked at the Emerald and the opened box. Then she turned to G, saddened by the scene that has just taken place.

"This place... must have been very important to you..." The hedgehog said, looking down, like she was almost ashamed. "I mean, it's not just that you knew the people from here, but also, you brought what might be the most powerful artifact you've seen..." 

Then Amy took the Emerald, put it back into the box, closed it and gave it to G.

"Now get up, and make your young friends AND your father proud" she said, while giving her hand to G, this time, looking at him with an expression of determination and hope.

"You wanted respect. Here you have mine."

Amy's words hit G hard as he took the box from her. "The Violet Rose Orphanage was like a home to me and so many others. My mother and Rosie built it to bring hope to the kids who suffered by Eggman's hands. I will make him pay for this but first I have something more important to do" said G as he got his phone out and made a call.

 

"Dad. The orphanage is gone. An Eggman bot  blew it up" said G with sadness in his voice. Ian remained silent for a moment. "Are all the kids alright?" Asked Ian sounding concerned. "Yes we got them all to safety" said G. "Then your mother's dream is still achievable. Son get your jeep and come pick me up. I have an old friend I need to see" said Ian sounding determined. "But Dad! You haven't left the house in 5 years!" Said a shocked G. Ian took a deep breath and spoke " Geoffrey! The Violet Rose Orphanage didn't just matter to you. It was MY wife's dream and I failed it just like I failed her. But it is time I did something about it. Come and get me and let's give old Max a visit and I won't leave until he listens" Ian hung up before G had a chance to respond.

 

G signed and knew his dad's mind was made up and he had to help. G looked at the crater and then the group. "Everyone I have to go and get my dad. But first I am going to see Sasha and tell Ash what happened. Ahhhhh... that won't be easy since he grew up in the orphanage and it was where I met him all those years ago. I need to tell him face to face. What you guys do from here is up to you but I am heading to the hospital so follow me if you want to go there" said G as he started to leave then stopped. "Amy you are a freedom fighter and friend of Princess Sally right? Then I ask you come with me since we could use your influence on what me and my dad are going to do" said G.

 

"Techno jumped in front of an Eggbot flamethrower to protect Sasha from it" said Ash to the Doctor.

"I guess I'll come." Myra volunteered.

The doctor nodded, and wraped a few bandages around Techno's face. "This should enough, but there might be some pretty nasty scars." She said. "Was there any other casualties?"

"I'll still be good looking even with them! And I don't think anyone else is hurt." Said Techno

"Lead the way" Amy said to G. "I also would like to see if Techno is right..."

"What do you say, hammer-pal?" Amy asked to Boulder.

"Just down the road there is a minibus. It was used to take the kids on fieldtrips. We can use that to drive to the hospital. Follow me" said G as he started walking again.

 

Ash just laughed at Techno' s words.

[Seviper the Fang Snake 368]

"Yes. It would be easier to put my mind at ease once I see my friend." Replied Boulder as he followed G

Myra nodded and followed G.

"Well then, we have a lot to do, so there's no time to waste" Amy said, following G through the street.

After a few minutes of walking the group come across a minibus with Violet coloured roses on it. G sighed and then unlocked the minibus. "Boulder and Amy can you two sit in the back? The front seats have access to a phone charger" said G implying that he wants Myra to sit in the passenger seat. G got into the driver's seat and started to prepare to depart.

Myra got into the bus and the front seat, and plugged in her phone. "Skye?"

[Skye Prower 386]

The moment Myra plugged in the phone a cry came from the phone.  Skye's face appeared on the screen, morphing between fox and lynx, male and female, before settling on the usual neutral hybrid form.  Skye blink a few times, looking rather surprised.

Boulder got into the backseat.

 

"Can I leave now?"Asked Techno

"Are you alright?" Myra asked startled.

The doctor nodded, "Just get some burn cream and use it regularly."

[Skye Prower 386]

"I... I am okay..." said Skye.  "I am just a little startled.  Imagine waking up by someone injecting caffeine directly into your brain."

"Come on Amy. The hospital awaits" said G as he sent Ash a text.

 

Ash heard a beep. "Oh my phone! It is a text from G. It says the battle is over and the group are coming here" said Ash.

[Seviper the Fang Snake 368]

"No prob Doc. Staying away from fire for now on." Said Techno 

[Katmuffin 16]

"Oh!" Myra replied, "Well, at least you're alright now."

"Alright," The doctor replied, "Sounds like you should go meet your friends."
