    We're still right at the beginning of the book. They're not gonna toss a giant, complex, or super serious story right at the start. Gotta let stuff settle in first.

      I mean it is a bit slippery yes, and it has obstacles later on but I'd say the controls are damn good.

      I've had no issues with the controls. The only difficulty I've had in the special stages comes from the actual stage design, which is good.

    Just wrapped up Castlevania: Dawn of Sorrow. With how much I loved Aria of Sorrow, I really wanted to like this game, but I just couldn't. It does genuinely improve on a few things, like making the soul switching way less tedious, but how slow it is really kills the game for me. Moving is slow, leveling up is slow, attacking is slow, Soma might as just be a snail.  The castle itself is also very unremarkable. I was just playing the game 15 or so minutes ago, and I could not tell you a single thing about any of the areas, save for maybe their general themes. So yeah, really wanted to like this game, but I just can't. It's a shame. Music is really good though, so there's that.

      Well, I don't think we should expect Prime 4 soon though. But man, that Metroid 2 remake though. Well I guess the two games prior to SNES aren't canon anymore. And yet I don't see any purist crying about that. *cough* Original Trilogy purists *cough*

    Jitsu wa Watashi wa is great. The anime's... less than stellar, but the manga is really good. Really sad to see it end.

      I'd rather not watch it there, but considering I won't be able to see it in theaters and the BD release isn't until late this year, I might need to.
