Pokemon Research Centre - Scabbard Town Coming down the road leading to the research centre at a brisk pace was a young man with a Torchic on his shoulder. "We must hurry, I believe we missed the starting time!" he said to the Torchic which replied with a chirp. As he came up to the centre he noticed the large gathering of people in front of the building. "Hm? Perhaps this is the celebration for the new beginners." He thought to himself as worked his way through the crowd. The crowd started parting for a man in a blue coat as he walked up to the doors.  "Pardon me good sir, but whom might that be?" asked the man to a fisherman next to him. "That would be Champion Storm, the reigning champion of the Ganlo Region." the fisherman replied to the man. "I see..."

I got New Years Laevatein for my seasonal.  I actually pulled Duma but I haven’t used him at all yet. I’ve almost completely replaced my regular Micaiah with New Years Micaiah since she pairs well with my Zelgius. I’d like to start incorporating Hríd and Duma but I was gunning really hard for Roy so I don’t know what team I should compose now... maybe a theme team like Dragon Emblem or Flyer Emblem.

I chased so hard for Roy, grinding everything I could to get him. Unfortunately I did not get him. I walked away however with 2 Hríd, Festival Micaiah, and Halloween Niles.  The only Legendary banner I’ve been waiting for and I couldn’t get him...

While he’s definitely better than the original look we got from the teaser poster, he just isn’t right. The lack of his signature gloves however is what really gets me though. Why white fur on the hands when could easily “borrow” some gloves here?

———————— Josh and Larry, Mercia  Waking up bright and early, the boys had stuff ready for their “adventure” down under.  “Ready to go Larry?”  “Yep, I got everything I need!”  “...Larry you can’t bring all that...” ”Why do you say that? Do you even know if they’ll have PB&Js there?”  Josh simply chuckled to himself and grabbed his bag. “I’ll be right back Larry, Chuck said Ian had something he wanted me to do quick before we go.”  ———————— Shard, The Great Pit, Downunda  After activating it’s “Chaos Emission Tracker”, Shard begins its journey away from The Great Pit. As it was making its way around what it identified as a “large concentration of life” it heard what sounded like a cry for help.  It stealthily approached the source, only to find some badniks chasing a young mobian.  “AHHH SOMEONE HELP!!” Shrieked the mobian. Shard noticed their oncoming direction and remained hidden in the bushes. As the mobian ran past, Shard quickly intercepted the bots, smashing them into the ground. Before the young mobian could turn around after hearing the commotion, Shard already disappeared.  “Huh? W-who’s there? D-did someone s-save me??” Asked the puzzled mobian aloud. Shard wanted to come out, but it was probably best it didn’t, lest it spooks them. So Shard remained hidden.  “Well... I guess those things are gone... but I gotta warn everyone about this!”  The mobian then takes off again, this time in the direction of the village.  Being an unsung hero is hard, but sometimes you gotta do it. With that detour done Shard continued on its way... ———————— Elias, Casino Night Zone  With all the pods dropping into the city, Elias became increasingly concerned. He noticed a radio by the dashboard and attempted to call the emergency channels.  “Hello? Can anyone hear me?! Over.”  Nothing but static.  “Communication breakdown can only mean one thing: Invasion.” Elias came to realize there may be a larger force in play, one ready for war. Arriving at the city, he noticed that there were robots guarding the gate. He then pulled off to the side before the bots noticed him, and stealthily snuck around to a small opening in the wall. He continued to crawl into the wall when a large explosion landed near him. He quickly got through and looked for where it landed. Where there was a guarded gate is now a large pile of debris, smoking and settling into place.  Rushing through the under siege city, Elias went straight for Doug’s shop hoping that he and his family were safe. Elias noticed upon arrival that the storefront had been mostly toppled and destroyed. “...oh please no!” He then rushed over and tried making his way through the debris. “Doug? Doug!” He called as he frantically looked for survivors.  He wanted to continue looking for Doug who was the only one he considered a friend in the city, but with no lifesigns and the impending threat, Elias had to leave. He did however borrow some weapons Doug had in the shop... ———————— Uncle Chuck, Mercia  “...alright Mr. St. John, I’ll take it over right now.” Josh was given the letter mentioned yesterday to drop off at Ian’s home. “Just remember to not say a word of what we’re doing to anyone, we don’t want to cause any undue attention.” “Yes sir!” He took off straight for Ian’s home with the letter in hand. Once he left, Chuck grabbed his bags and put them by the door.  “I still can’t believe something like this is actually happening.” Sighed an exasperated Chuck. Some other bots were working their way over towards the pod too, so Elias drew his sword and intercepted them right as they arrived. "Looks like you guys could use a hand!" shouted Elias as he sliced one of the bots in half. Elias noticed the chief of police was also working on the pod. "Chief Hoppington?"  "Yes that's me, mind helping me open this?!" the Chief replied. "Right!" Elias jammed his sword into the hatch of the pod and tried to pry it open.  "I've noticed plenty of escape routes throughout the city, namely the South entrance seemed mostly clear. Maybe we can start evacuating as many as we can before they start tightening their grip here." Suggested Elias.  "That's an excellent ide-" the Chief got cut off by a near-miss fired by one of the wasp bots. Elias quickly pulled his sword out of the pod and leapted toward it. "Get people to safety, I'm going to look for others!" yelled Elias. He sliced the bot and pressed onward, looking for anyone else in trouble...  ————————

Lego games are always great, I remember the first Lego games I ever played were basically my childhood.

Nice, I didn’t have much orbs to begin with so I had to use all 40 of mine to try for Hrid, only to get a pity breaker of Laevatein.

From what Nintendo has said on that subject, Shigeru Miyamoto might as well be the director as they said they’ve been working only with his consent and direction. I for one believe that it has high chances of being good.  ...here we are talking more about the possibility good Mario movie in the Sonic movie topic. 

Elias, just outside Casino Night Zone Driving back from his run-in with robots and Valentino, Elias was getting closer to the city when the sky suddenly started darkening.  “What the heck?!”  He noticed that pods similar to the one he was originally after were dropping from the sky into the city. “Oh that’s not good at all. I need to hurry!” He floors the pedal and drives as fast as possible...  ————————  Josh and Larry, Mercia  After getting back from an eventful trip to the Emerald Lake and stopping by Uncle Chuck’s place, the boys got home to rest before their trip in the morning.  Having finished cleaning himself up, Larry walked into the living room only to find Josh watching yet another martial arts movie most likely for inspiration and training. “Really? Okay Josh, what is it this time?” Asked a questioning Larry. “IP Bird: Master of Wing Chun.”  “I don’t recall you watching that one before.”  “That’s because me and Dad were gonna watch it together when they got back.” ”I see... Do you think maybe... We’ll run into them on our trip?”  “I honestly don’t know Larry. I mean we’re going the opposite way of Mobotropolis.”  “I was just wondering Josh...”  “I know Larry, but it is good to remain optimistic...”  “Um did that crane just break that bulldog’s arm by pushing in his elbow!? “Oh ho ho yes he did! Awesome!”  ————————  Shard, Downunda  After what seemed like forever, Shard finally climed out of the Great Pit.  Organic Area scan: Initiate  It’s sensors start scanning the environment around it for life signs.  Large concentration of life 260 degrees Northeast: Most likely a village: Avoid  Current Mission: Unknown?  With it’s memory damaged, Shard doesn’t exactly know what to do...  Chaos emission tracker: ? Uh... activate?  A few moments later a gem icon appears on it’s HUD 330 degrees North. Without much else to do, Shard decides that might be it’s best lead as to what happened to it. Current mission: Track down “Chaos”  ————————

Then there's my younger brother, me nor Clay have both spent at least 150+ orbs on him haven't seen him at all...  and my younger bro got him on a whim on his first pull...  

I kinda doubt (but kinda hope) that Book III will shed some light on some more backstory on Nifl but if anything it’ll probably be more on Askr. Either way, Book III will be interesting.

100+ orbs and still no Hríd... had two “off-banner” 5☆ though; Legendary Robin and Summer Noire. 

Niiiiice. If you got it for the PS4, I need to pick up a PS+ so we can play together.
