      and no not all alkali metals, I believe K and Na react violently because of their position in the metal activity series, while other alkali metals don't react vio- *shot*

      Well. I do believe it has something to do with their configuration or something. Please correct me if I'm wrong. Also, my memory is kinda hazy now regarding General Chemistry topics. Trust me, I've done Analytical, Organic, Physical, Applied and Instrumentation chemistry before and everything I learned during my first year is slowly forgotten. Though a quick reminder may help refresh my memory. :D
