Funny you should mention that...Actually, it's from that question that I created Red the Alternate in the first place. ...It was also that question that led to me wanting to be a Game Designer in Sonic Team so that I can Make Sonic Adventures 3. ...You could say that question was what made me who I am. ...Red was made to basically be the answer to that question. Lol Jest.I wanna work at Sonic Team aswell because I really wanna be a part of a "good" Sonic game.Also It's because of all those beautiful CGI cut scenes that I saw In the games that got me to start drawing.I have however resisted the urge to make my own fan character so far...I'm tempted though.

Dark and edgy? That kinda condradicts the light hearted theme the games seems to be having at the moment. Also, I know not to trust a shortlist of writers if I've seen at least one film from each of them. I mean come on, Brad Bird? I can't really see him doing this. So yeah, I think it's a little too good to be true

Yeah dark and edgy doesn't really go that well with Sonic if you ask me.But If I'm going to be honest,If they do make a movie like this then I know I'm going to watch either way.Just to see how bad or good It is

If it's real (which I highly doubt) then I will watch it at the cinema as many times as I can even if I hate it because I will be that surprised

I've still got my Mega Drive in the loft somewhere.

I used to have one, then when I was 4 (I think) my parents got rid of it. The only games we had for it were the original Sonic games. Good times were had with that console.

The first time I ever saw a SEGA Genesis was during a public sale (the ones where you walk into buildings and the stuff you can buy Is In there)and It had Sonic 1 and Sonic 2 with It.It was only $40 too.My first thought was "Ima get this system".So I looked into my wallet and found I only had $35 with me.I was 10 at this time so I couldn't just drive myself home to get 5 more dollars.I shed a single man tear that day as I walked away from the offer

My two favorite games when i had a ps1 was sonic and megaman... now it seems that i had a cd with emulated games on it and some megaman and sonic games were in it... Good times.

you know what? i wasn't going to read the crossover originally because of what happened to the sonic comics at that time. I thought Mega man would be boring too. But look at me now, after deciding to read the first part, I'm now a huge mega man fan and i loved the crossover XD

I knew a little bit about Mega Man for a while, but like most people here I didn't really get into it until the crossover was announced. After reading the MM comics to fully understand his side of the story, I then got into the classic games, starting (strangely) with MM10.

Both being on Wii U and 3DS doesn't help (thought the latter suprises me). Also, there were a lot of bad reviews from our dear sonic haters IGN and Gamespot, so that didn't help either.

I expect that it was all of the above: The marketing was a mixed bag, the Wii-U was still in a state of "we're not an add-on for the Wii!" and the early reviews (as ridiculous as they were) certainly didn't help. Even then, I would've thought that more people would buy it after the major patch. But alas, it was not to be...

You can't spell ignorant without IGN...or is that getting old now?I forget,anyways...all I know Is that I'm saving up for a Wii U since I've already missed 2 Sonic games on there and It will almost be 3 If I don't get Sonic Boom (when It comes out that Is).Also Is it fair to say that this games rating was rather scattered from very good to very bad *looks at Gamespot*.Seriously Gamespot,It's not THAT bad.

I don't know if there was an official word as to exactly why. I remember hearing all of those things that you said, but I also remember hearing that he liked doing weird side work and asking not to be credited for it. I'm not sure if I've ever heard an exact reason. It could be a combination of some or all of those things. Be nice to find out though!

I heard it was for the quality of the music indeed. MJ didn't really like the sound coming out of the Genesis. But I'm not entirely sure if that's true.
