    My friend is giving me a big surprise, they're buying a Fire Emblem game for me! Only problem is I can't chose which one I want most! I'm really enjoying playing Awakening on another friends 3ds, but Fates and Warriors looks really good...

      Fates for a good story... Fates.... for a GOOD story? Thire..... Er... Fates story is kinda terrible.... characters are bland, motivations makes zero sense, important points are hidden behind DLCs, it doesn't understand how to do a death scene (one exception), and the main character is just.... urgh.... Plus you need to buy it three times to get the full story. Now, gameplay wise, Fates is great. But for story, nahhhhhhh Personally, I'd recommend Fire Emblem Echoes - Shadows of Valencia. A remake of FE2, and fully voice acted to boot!

      Misread a point on your post Pearl! I thought you had Awakening, not just played a friends copy. I'd agree with Thire, Awakening is a great FE starter game, and has a lot going for it. As you haven't played an FE before, Echoes might actually not be the best place to start, as it has a might steeped difficulty curve, and some unusual mechanics.
