    Um... Would it be smart to use a master ball on Giratina? I'm up to it on Pokemon Platinum.... I tried once without one, didn't work...

      I didn't, but as result I didn't even use it. You might use it on the roaming leaving-after-one-turn pokemon, spares a lot of time.

      It depends really. Using it on a roaming legendary (which'll likely be Mesprit) is useful, but be warned: the post-game has 4 MORE roaming legends.
