    Been hunting for Shiny Butterfree in a Friend Safari in Pokemon x for 2 hours now... To think my last shiny didn't even take 10 minutes to find...

      Shiny pokemons ARE rare. Some more easy to catch some more difficult.

      The chance on encountering a Shiny in Friend Safari's are a lot higher than through random encounters, although I've been extremely lucky with Shinies lately
