I take back the story part of Fates, I meant gameplay was great. But yes, the story could’ve been better.

@Dylan There speaks someone who's heard me ramble way to much @Thire Sorry for barking at you there, but yeah, the gameplay is really good @Pearl98 Well... for more detailed ramblings Awakening is probably the best call. It has good gameplay (though a little easy to make your team overpowered) , fun characters (though some can be anime stereotypes), and a decent story. Plus it is designed with newcomers in mind. Fates has great gameplay, but weak story and characters. And honestly, given FE should be strong in all three, it's kinda missing the point of the franchise. Plus it has a despicable purchase requirement if you want the whole story. Shadows of Valencia is the best 3DS for story and characters. But gameplay, while its certainly not bad, though some maps are lacking, but as it's based on FE2, it's rather quirky and different to other FE games. So it does have a different feel. Though personally I really enjoy the gameplay of it too. And Warriors. I haven't played it, so I can't really comment, but it's not a typical Fire Emblem game. It's a hack and slash action game, rather than a turn based tactical one. Hope that helps! ;)
