Final Fantasy X. I honestly thought I wouldn't like it, but whoa, am I so glad to be wrong. What a rich world. What powerful imaginery. What an outstanding soundtrack. What a story.  Haven't gotten further from the Temple of Djose, but man, what a experience it has been so far. Looking forward to knowing more about Spira, Sinh's true nature and the insane journey the party is going through.  BTW, Auron best boy. Prove me wrong.

I see it was... Okay, so... Did I win? I mean, this IS the last post after all. And I was the one who wrote it, so... Last to post wins, amirite?

Granted, but all the creative team is completely different, and the show ends up being about Mickey Mouse. I wish for absolute TOTAL CONTROL

Alright, time to write a dream of mine in here.  I have rencetly started writing my own  Yume Nikki  dream diary, trying to recall the events my subconscious creates in my mind while sleeping. So far I've written four entries in the last month, and I want to share with you two of four dreams I had last night, they are the ones I enjoyed the most, and they kinda have some continuity:   DREAM 1: I'm in a technologically advanced facility. I'd say it's a hangar, because I see flying vehicles in it. Are those Quinjets? That's right, I'm inside the Avengers base, or the Helicarrier itself. There, one of the agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. gives me a box with Marvel merchandising. No, not  Avengers merchandise, no. There are Captain America's caps and T-shirts, but there's a cap with the Marvel logo on it. And it's not refering to Captain Marvel or anything like that, no. Does Marvel Comics exist withing the Marvel Universe itself?? DREAM 2: I'm consuming a fictional product about Sonic the Hedgehog (see, I HAD to post this in here!). I don't remember if it was a video game, an animated series or a comic book. The point is that the story ends up being so immersive that I feel inside the scene: I'm in a forest, full of trees stretching out into the sky, their truks so high that its canes can't be seen. The golden sun rays make their way through the logs, allowing me to see shades of green that extends over the foliage and grass. A truly remarkable image. Sonic and Amy are in the middle of this landscape. They haven't seen each other for a long time, and of course meeting the blue hedgehog makes Amy react with happiness and euphoria, jumping to Sonic to hug him without a second thought. Soon this joy stops, as Amy is worried, looking for some red balloons she has lost through the woods. Sonic offers to help her, and together they gather all the balloons and take them to the point where they met. Then Amy pulls out her Piko-piko hammer, swings it and in a single move ties all the balloons to the hammer's handle (WTF?). The pink hedgehog swings the hammer, managing to float in the air (I... I thnink balloons don't work like that). She reaches out to Sonic, inviting him to to fly with her, and surprisingly, the blue guy agrees. Amy extends her free arm over Sonic, and he hugs the girl's torso, in a gesture that makes miss Rose blush. Together they fly over the forest, and come to see a nearby city from above, as the sun slowly hides. The aesthetic looks like something out of an anime film directed by Makoto Shinkai, simply spectacular. Amy is amazed at the beautiful sight, and I feel all the joy of the girl: the breeze rubbing her cheeks, her irrepressible smile and pure bliss because she's been able to share such a beutiful moment with the boy she is hopelessly in love with... (Honestily, this scene made me feel very cozy. It was sooooo wholesome and heartwarming. And I'm not even a very SonAmy guy, but this evente seemed out of a shoujo manga.) Sonic, on the other hand, seems quite comforted, despite being so close to his usual stalker. Silence reigns while the hedgehogs fly down. A silence only broken by the sound of the wind and Amy's occasional giggles and lovesick sighs. But I realise I have to land somewhere, and I get to see a high area very similar to a park in my city, but with a structure that seems like a fusion between the Arc de Triomphe with the Brandenburg Gate. And no, I haven't made a mistake, I said I had to land. Neither Sonic nor Amy, but me. The super-duper-cute scene between Sonic and Amy suddenly changes without any transition and now I'm the one grabbing the balloons and flying over the city. Besides, I'm only wearing underpants and a cap. What. The. Heck. I can set foot near that strange monument that doesn't exist in my town, and I intend to fly again before any cop fins me for public scandal or something. Besides, I don't even have my ID card or anything. I mean, I'm only wearing underpants and a cap, what the heck could I carry in those? Surprisingly enough,  I see a soldier in an old uniform and conqueror's helmet (WTF? part 2) who ignores me.  The one who doesn't ignore me is a sweeper in a security guard suit, who complains about how much the young people present are dirtying the park. And he's right: on the floor we can see bottles, plastic boxes, and even a half-buried cap on the floor. The sweeper-guard looks at the cap I'm wearing. I let him examine the cap before entering a facility that looks like a very modern hospital or a research center. He sees that my cap has the Marvel logo (remember the previous dream?). Inside the hallways of the facility, the guy (now sporting a more casual outfit, with a very light brown hair and beard) tells me that he doesn't like superheroes at all, and he prefers "the real superheroes". I quickly deduce that with "real superheroes" he refers to the action heroes of 80's and 90's cinema, and I'm right. He mentions several films (which I don't think they actually exist), and I ask him if he likes Arnold Schwarzenegger, because at that very moment, his face changes to become identical to the California ex-senator when he was younger. The stranger replies that he doesn't like Schwarzenegger that much. Ironic. I tell him I've seen some of Dirty Harry films, and he replies that "now that's the real deal." We leave the facility, and I see it's 22:44. Night has taken over the sky and I have to reunite with my parents. The stranger and I said goodbye in front of a spectacular well-lit building whose facade can't be more overloaded in design. I walk into the streets of the city, that is definately not my own. Now, where am I? Where are my parents? Am I still naked? Where are Amy's ballons? And, most importantly, WHY HASN'T SEGA ALREADY MADE A AMY ROSE SPIN-OFF INSPIRED BY SHOUJO MANGA??

Okay, thanks @BonnitoPlay!  Considering it's related to Modern Sonic, now we can assume it's not a sequel of Sonic Mania Adventures or a movie tie-in.

-Tekno the Canary, Casino Night Zone "Thanks, mister...officer Chief..." Tekno said, overwhelmed by all that was happening. But things would get even more overwhelming for her when she got to hear the Swat Bots echoing order: "Canary, priority one" A mechanical chant that made the bird tremble. "Oh, no... no, no, nO, NO, NO!" Taking a few steps back, the emerald bird realized that she should not stay there much longer. Her fear would soon turn into despair, and then frustration and anger would take its place. "They're after ME?! You've GOT to be KIDDING ME!!" "Wait... this people... they could think I'm related to these machines in some way. Besides, if they find my lab, I'm done for." she thought. All her work could get lost. Not just one frog, but the entirety of her investigations was at risk. Although... these people were trying to protect her. It wasn't fair to let them fight while she ran away. A understandable and logical action, but a cowardly one nonetheless. "No... the lab could make for a safe place right now. I should guide these guys there anyway, but before that, they have to understand that I have no idea where these robots came from, or else they won't trust me." Tekno turned around, and spoke to the brave and chaotic team that unexpectedly formed to fight the bots and protect the streets. "Okay, hear me our! I swear, I have ABSOULTELY NOTHING TO DO WITH--" but before Tekno could finish her sentence, a stun beam hit her on the back. A painful blow that made her fall to the ground. With the effects of the Megatal Serum fading away, Tekno started feeling dizzy, unable to get back up. And the pain of the shot didn't help in the slightest. What a terrible moment to look out for a stupid frog that could have escaped months ago and that most likely no one would care about... _______________________________________________________________________________________________________ -??? ??? ???, forest in Pais Misterioso The black and yellow eyes of a green frog with orange stripes over its body looked to the massive purple feline sat on the side of the river. "RIBBIT!"  The cat swang the fishing rod, and inmediately got up, surprised by the croaking of the frog.  "HUH?! Oh... there you are! I thought you left..." the cat said to the frog, happy to know that he was wrong. "It is good to have you nearby, Froggy! It has been a very nice month with you as a fishing partner." The frog croaked again. "Oh... Is that so? Don't worry, friend. We will find a lot of instects on the way home so you can eat, okay?" Once again, the cat was replied by more croaking from Froggy. "I don't know how they taste, Froggy... I have never eaten insects." The big cat and the small jumping amphibious kept their conversation as they walked (and jumped) their way to a humble looking wooden hut covered with giant leaves in the middle of the forest, not far from the river. _______________________________________________________________________________________________________ -Sonic the Hedgehog, Island "Robotnik... gotta remember that name. He could be the one responsible for all this. And those robots and that pod that fell from the sky migh also be his doing." The blue hedgehog thought.  "Whoa! A massive fight between airships? That sounds dangerous... Did you escape from any of those? Aaaand did you see anyone injured during the battle?" Sonic asked, with increasing concern every time he heard a blast from afar. "Maybe they could need our help!" he trusted the fox. For his young appearance, he seemed quite capable, smart and resourceful. At least capable, smart and resourceful enough to fix a biplane by himself while an aerial battle was taking place a few kilometers from there.  "And speaking of help... you don't need it right now, okay, good to hear. A friend is what you'll get then!" Sonic asserted with confidence, smiling. The blue speedster found no reason not to treat the  as an equal. "So, what do you think we should do, Tails?"

Guess that makes sense, considering the guy worked on Rick and Morty. Even though the deleted the tweet. Heh, we've got a few deleted tweets about Sonic's future recently, haven't we?

Yeah, he looks too... cartoony? Even too much for a Sonic design. Also, the question I make seeing this artwork: is Sonic gonna make a crossover with Star Trek?

7 Chaos Emeralds exist, as far as we know...

Today I had the chance of playing River City Girls with a friend, in co-op mode.... and I FRIGGIN' LOVE IT. It has everything I could ask for: cute badass butt-kicking female protagonists, adorableand colorful pixel-art, nice and simple controls, cool music and manga style cutscentes (drawn by one of my favourite comic artists ever, Priscilla Hamby)  Now my bro (or sis, considering we play as girls in the game) and I have to save Riki and Kunio... And we'll sure as heck have a blast doing it!

 

Thanks, Skye!  Now, let's get the real deal, shall we? The one character that design never got to represent... Blaze the Cat, blasting through in a fake comic page... with no background. I just found I scanned a pair of cool Blaze sketches, so I coloured them and made this. The one narrating in the caption boxes would probably be Gardon the Koala, Blaze's guard from Sonic Rush Adventure.  

Sonic could have been a rabbit, Cream could have been a squirrel or a racoon, and Blaze could have been... errrr... whatever this is? So, inspired by (not to say BLUNTLY RIPPING OFF) Blaze's prototype design, here comes who I called Mist the Chimera: Yeah, it's obvious why to consider this a chimera: first of all, because we have no idea what kind of animal it was supposed to be. Maybe she could have been a lion, but female lions do not have that long mane... but the mythological Chimera does, as well as a snake for a tail, hence that creepy-looking tail with a face that resembles a dark wisp or that weird giant yellow ball Zazz carries around. To make her look weirder, her eyes are based of the ones that prototype version of Silver had. And she has no mouth, like Mephiles.  Considering how many elements this design borrows from other characters that were or never were, this is a chimera in and out of character! As for the name, Mist, well... she creates mist when she shows up (duh!) and is able to turn into a cloud. She might also have ice powers (the opposite to Blaze). I wanted to keep the dirty and imperfect texture of scanned pencil strokes to make it feel like the droplets of water and other particles are forming her body.

If you mean "a user that hasn't previously posted in this thread", yeah, you're right! The next user has a pet.

Okay, I feel like I shouldn't corrupt that last wish, since it's something very personal. Honestly, I feel like I have also failed some people because of this, because of not talking to them enough and waiting for them to take the iniciative. I'm trying to change that behavior...  I also hope things got better and those people reconsidered what they did and gave you the attention and love you deserve.    Anyway, I'll continue... I wish I could drive!
