    Word of advice: don't use data from individual people on the Internet as accurate indication of how the Sonic the Hedgehog franchise is doing. You'll just set yourself up for karma like IGN.

      Quarter of the internet hates Sonic and wants it to crash and burn.  Quarter of the internet loves Sonic, but in a very off-brand or fanatical way, and gives the rest of fans a bad name.  Quarter doesn't care, but assumes the franchise is dying.  And the other quarter likes Sonic and is decent, but doesn't want to speak up.

      Skye, that's an oversimplification. I don't think it's anything close to a 1/4-1/4-1/4-1/4 ratio and I doubt that even if there is a ratio, both the Sonic fandom and hatedom are so hyperactive that it won't stay for longer than ten minutes.
