    The announcement of Pac-Man almost crushed my hype for Smash 4. I really dislike Pac-Man, and he does not deserve a spot on there. Why choose him, when you have other amazing Namco characters like Klonoa and basically everyone from the Tales of games? I know he's iconic but still, he doesn't deserve it.

      The thing is, Pac-Man being in Smash Bros. was pretty much a foregone conclusion once people knew that Namco-Bandai were working on the games. (Personally, I'm just happy to see him in his 'World' design instead of his new one.) Also, he is one of the original faces of video gaming.

      Well that's true, he is iconic. But still, Namco owns so many great characters. I would put anyone, and then literally everyone (including Zelos from Symphonia) over Pac-Man. And let's not forget Klonoa. I would prefer both of these 1 million times over Pac-Man.
