Wow, pretty effective list Survivor. Good work! Though, I think one type of Zombie has been missed out. The one that shows up in Fantasy. The Necromantic Zombie.

There's no way I can cover it in detail like you have, but from what I've seen, they act like Type 1 Viral Zombies (slow, relentless, may have memories) except they are not infectious, and, due to being animated by magic, damaging the head often won't affect these zombies greatly.

Rather than Zombification being passed on, the magic simple re-animated a corpse. So as long as you are alive, you're fine. Sometimes it can be any corpse will rise the moment life leaves it. In other cases some ritual needs to be performed before a Zombie can be raised.

I would stay away from swords due to the amount of maintenance they need and the fact that sword use requires much more skill, especially regarding edge alignment. In terms of melee weapons hammers, axes and spears would probably be best.

Chainsaaaaaaaaaaaaw!! xD though it's heavy... so... Katana? Scythe? maybe hand gun? it's pretty small and light and easy to carry around and the only thing you have to worry about is ammo.
