There was one problem, time was collapsing because of Sonic's travels through zones. Thru a time machine, he travel to the past to fix this imminent collapse. This is when you come into play. With your ability of Chaos Crontol, you were aware of the collapsing time and of the continum changes, thus you seize the day by conquering the war-torn world with a fist of iron, changing history and bringing a form of 'peace' by eliminating those who opposed you. You made Maria into a goddess, as you conquered the world in what was your mission of protecting the planet since your creation and a promise to her. Probably ambition....probably something changed him. *looks down, then turn to Shadow* Miles: Your downfall. When the time re-reach the day of King Sonic travel to the past, a set of memories from the past continum came to me, that's when I knew something was not concurrent. I seeked help from Knuckles, who also knew, yet he refused as he was your police. His daughter was the one who helped me find King Sonic, who had become a vagabond and had the memory of the past continum. Thereafter, Knuckles arrested us, but only to help us enter the castle, we separated and I helped put the security system down. As recounted, Queen Sally was evacuated by Knuckles and Sonic tried to battle you, but he was no longer in his prime and as you don't age, you easily submitted him, at that moment Knuckles' daughter came in and through Chaos Control she was able to stop you....
