"Yeah! Lwet's!" said Skye as he started running back to Haven.

"Not so fast Skye, wait for us!" shouted Miles.

Melody laughed. "Good choice. Now what to... Yeah, THIS one!" She gave a laugh, then started casting the spell. Then Melody stood up and jumped clear of her wheelchair. "Okay, let's see if you can dispel THIS!"

Hope looked totally shocked. "Wha... but.....,.". She then regained her thoughts and cast the dispel spell. "How long does that spell for you last?"

"It doesn't." said Melody as the illusion was dispelled and Melody reappeared back in the chair. "It's a more advanced version of that decoy illusion spell you cast. I just wanted to see the look on your face."

"I don't wanna race. I'm too tired" Dylan said a little upset Skye had run off and left them

Miles picked Dylan up and placed him on his shoulders.

"Let's see if we can catch him," he said, running after Skye.

"Very funny Melody, you got me," laughed Hope.

Dylan cheered at the ride

"Faster! Faster!" He said giggling

Miles grinned and ran as fast as he could safely.

Skye reached the doors to Haven, but came to a halt as he reached the group. He looked around scared, then gave a sigh of relief as the bad guy seemed to have gone.

"Hi Skye, what's the rush?" asked Harmony.

"No rwush. I jwust lwike gowing fwast!" said Skye, almost jumping. Harmony gave her brother a look of surprise.

At which point Miles arrived, Dylan still on his shoulders.

Melody was laughing. "Yep, I did. A shame I can't do it for really. And well done for dispelling it. You've got the hang of it!"

"Thanks, and liek I said i'm sure I can come up with something to get your legs working again faster than normal."

"Hello Harmony, Hello Zamy," said Miles are he walked over to them, swaying slightly with Dylan on his back.

Melody looked up hopefully. "Do you really think you can... Uh... is there any chance of that today?"

"That was FUN!" Dylan cheered. "Can I go down now, Uncle Miles?"

"Sure thing, kid" said Miles, helping Dylan off his back.

"Hello Miles, I hope you had a better experience than us."

"Probably not today, unless you want me to inject you with my counterpart's serum and see what happens. She seemed pretty happy with it all things considered."

"Uncle Miles called me a kid again!" Dylan grinned pointing to Miles

"Darn, so I did Dylan. How many favours do I owe you know?" Miles asked Dylan before turning to Zamy.

"It went bad then? But everyone appears uninjured. I suppose things were better with me, aside from getting stuck up a tree," said Miles. Harmony burst out laughing at Miles getting stuck, causing Miles to glare at her.

"Uhhhh...." Melody seemed to be seriously considering it. "Best not. At least, not until we know exactly what it is."

"It was just that Spark's friend acted like an arrogant jerk," explained Zamy. "How'd you get stuck up a tree?"

"Yeah, that was my thinking. I wonder how she's finding Zone Jail?"

"TEN!" Dylan shouted. He knew that was a lie but he hoped Miles would go for it. In reality he thought this was the second, maybe third favour Miles now owed. He then turned to Harmony and Zamy

"Yeah! He got stuck and Ziona had to fly him down! I told him not to climb up but he didn't listen!" he said not noticing Miles' glare to Harmony

"Thwat gwuy was Spwark's fwriend? But he trwied to kwill me!" exclaimed Skye.

"Dylan was feeling a little upset, so I climbed up to... console him," Miles elaborated. He looked down at Dylan. "Actually, I think it's three. But maybe we should dock you one for lying and trying to cheat."

"Hypocrite!" Harmony shot at Miles.

"Unbearably tedious I hope, with nothing to engage her mind so it tears itself apart," said Melody.

"NO! Sorry Uncle Miles! I won't try and cheat again. Please don't take one away" Dylan pleaded

"I see. I'm all for you trying to help people, but I'd rather you didn't risk breaking something in the process," smiled Zamy.

"Call me crazy, but I'd rather she didn't lose her mind. There must be some knowledge that can be salvageable for less... nefarious purposes," said Hope.

Miles bowed his head, both from Harmony comment and Zamy's chastisement.

"Sorry Zamy. I won't do it again. And, you said sorry Dylan. Don't do it again and I won't take one away."

"Hmm, she did seem to get along well with you, so maybe you could find out," said Melody.

Dylan looked relieved

"Okay, Uncle Miles. Promises!" he said smiling

Zamy pulled Miles' had back up with a smile on her face.

"I wasn't complaining, I was just pointing out it could have gone wrong. I don't want to see you get hurt."

"Yeah, but there are other things at hand first."

Miles' face broke into a smile, buoyed up by how much someone cared about him.

"Thank's Zamy. I will try to be more careful in the future," he said. Then he held hi hand up to Hi-five Dylan. "Good for you," he said.
