I will give Gray some credit by saying his art now is pretty good, and he did have a few good panels in his time with the Sonic comics, but for the most part I feel his work on Sonic wasn't very good.

Most of the artists are pretty good (notable examples being Tracy Yardley, of course, and more recently, Jennifer Hernandez), but when the artists were bad, they were really bad. Ron Lim's art made everybody's spines impossibly long, and proportions were completely out of whack. I really didn't care for Jon Gray's art. His anime-esque art style really didn't fit the series, and at it's worst characters seemed to be melting. James Fry's art had similar problems to Jon Gray's. Style doesn't fit the book and characters look very unnatural at times, with massive heads and eyes and comparatively tiny bodies. Most everyone else has been pretty good.

Right now, I'd honestly like to see some kind of Silver related arc. We haven't seen hide nor hair of Silver since Worlds Collide ended. I get that he's probably in the future (or possibly even non-existent), but not knowing anything about what happened Silver afterwards actually kind of irritating. -
I think I'll spend a bit of time trying to some of the less active forum topics back into the light. Or at the very least get them out of the depths of the site.

Along with Sonic Boom, Five Nights At Freddy's 2 was released today. Hopefully I'll be able to grab Sonic Boom at some point today. As for FNAF 2, I purchased it around midnight and installed it. Time to see if this one's actually good.

I'm also listening to Terror Time Again from Scooby-Doo on Zombie Island. -
I finished Shantae and the Pirate's Curse earlier today. Great game, if you like Metroid or Metroidvania style games, I'd suggest trying it out.

Been playing Smash 4 for about a day now, and it's really good! I don't think it's as good as Melee, but it's definitely better than Brawl.

Metroid is by far my favorite video game series, but I only really liked the 2D ones. The Prime games are kind of clunky, and I feel that Metroid doesn't really work in first-person. Though I wouldn't say the Prime games are bad so much as they are mediocre. Honestly, the only game in the series I would consider bad is Other M, and it's not even just bad, it's horrendous. Especially if you compare it to Super Metroid, (my favorite game in the series and my favorite game overall) which Other M was a direct sequel to.

So I got one of the Smash 4 3DS demo codes, and just finished playing the demo. It'll take some getting used to, but I think it's pretty fun.

Surprised that this thread hasn't been updated in a while. Anyway, Smite is one my favorite games in a long time. I really hope we see more people on this site and even more people in general playing the game.

Does anybody know who penciled the After the Credits scene in Sonic the Hedgehog #259? I'm fairly sure it was Evan Stanley, but I need to be sure.

School has kept me from resuming my reading of comics, but hopefully I should be able to get back to that this weekend. I'm also working on a review of the most recent issue of Sonic the Hedgehog!

School starts for me today. Technically it started a few hours ago, but because it's online, I can still post this status. Once I'm done with today's schoolwork, I shall return to the Sonic comics.
