    Flash is faster than Sonic. I'd love DC and Archie to do a cross-over comic to explain this. You see, Flash outran Superman. Superman's energy is infinite as long as he has sunlight. For every step Barry Allen (Flash) takes, the speed force grows and increases his speed. Flash can also think on the attosecond level. Therefore, Flash is faster than Sonic.

      Sonic's speed is finite. The Flash can achieve a speed of infinity.

      I wouldn't go claiming Sonic's speed his finite unless you have actual evidence: he can go super and use Chaos Control, so in theory he could be faster. Regardless, comparing whose bogus science is better seems a fruitless endeavour.
