Sonic Prime (Netflix Series)
yumallah replied to ChaosKaiser's topic in Multiverses of Sonic the Hedgehog
So, has anyone watched this yet? If so, what do you think? Is it good or not? I've heard it is, but haven't watched myself (feel free to spoil it for me tho, not really planning on watching it anytime soon because I simply do not have the time). -

A game that's quite popular on the Russian forums. The rules are simple: you just need to guess any characteristic of the user below you in any way possible. Let's start, I guess. The next user has a job.

Sonic the Hedgehog 2 (2022 Movie)
yumallah replied to BonnitoPlay's topic in Multiverses of Sonic the Hedgehog
Haven't seen it so far, since the screening in Russia has been cancelled for reasons you're all probably aware of. I'll probably get around to watching it online at some point. -
The Russian site is a whole other world, compared to this place it's a blooming paradise of high activity. This place is just kinda... dead.

Sonic Prime (Netflix Series)
yumallah replied to ChaosKaiser's topic in Multiverses of Sonic the Hedgehog
I mean, we've known about that for a while now. Well, I'm personally not a huge fan of how the animation is looking so far. Not at all. Also, WHY does it always have to start with Green Hill Zone? God, please, can't Sonic find another place to hang out? Well, that applies to most Sonic works, not just this series, I'm just really tired of people overusing Green Hill Zone like that. It was cool and nostalgic for some time, but now it's just become annoying and repetitive. Well, can't say much else about this whole Sonic Prime thing for now, let's see where it goes. -
So, um, has anybody over here heard of the recent Chris Chan situation by now?

I think it's time to change the topic's name to 'Sonic Prime', now that we know that's the upcoming series' name. -

Sonic the Hedgehog 2 (2022 Movie)
yumallah replied to BonnitoPlay's topic in Multiverses of Sonic the Hedgehog
I think something isn't quite right with that design of Sonic on the right, lol. -
I've finally gotten down to watching Sonic X in the original Japanese dub with English subtitles. Needless to say, it's much better than the 4kids version.

Who are all the people who keep making blank accounts and not showing up a single time after registering and why are they doing it?

Sonic the Hedgehog 2 (2022 Movie)
yumallah replied to BonnitoPlay's topic in Multiverses of Sonic the Hedgehog
They've already set up the echidna lore coming at the start of the first movie, so I think that it will definitely be explored in the second chapter of the story. -
Oh, wow, I had no idea there was (and could ever be) such a topic here on SCANF! I'm actually very much interested in this, as anthropology very much ties into my other interests, such as history and linguistics. Yes, it is in fact true that many ethnic groups that most people wouldn't exactly consider 'white' are, in fact, caucasoid in race. For example, the Habesha people of the Horn of Africa, as mentioned in a picture above. They are 'black' (dark) in skin color, yes, but if you take a closer look at the facial features and bone structure of many Ethiopians, Eritreans, and Somalians you will see that they are much closer to the Arabs or even some Southern Europeans. Hell, many of them are even lighter in skin color, too, that other subsaharan Africans. Habesha people who go abroad often get asked if they're mixed, because of their caucasoid features yet distinctively dark skin color. Then there are the so-called 'peripheral races', such as the Uraloid race in Northern Russia, which has features of both the Caucasoid and the Mongoloid races. Lots of interesting stuff to talk about in here. Sad that that the original poster hasn't been active since 2015, lol, I doubt anybody else over here is interested in this.

I'm sure some of you have heard at least something about this amazing cartoon. If not, then - Steven Universe is an American animated television series created by Rebecca Sugar for Cartoon Network. It premiered on May 21, 2013 with its pilot, then on November 4, 2013 with its first season. It is Cartoon Network's first animated show created solely by a woman. It is the coming-of-age story of a young boy, Steven Universe (voiced by Zach Callison), who lives with the Crystal Gems—magical, humanoid aliens named Garnet (Estelle), Amethyst(Michaela Dietz), and Pearl (Deedee Magno Hall)—in the fictional town of Beach City. Steven, who is half-Gem, has adventures with his friends and helps the Gems protect the world from their own kind. The themes of the series include love, family, and the importance of healthy interpersonal relationships. Books, comics and video games based on the series have been released, and a television film is in development.
