Danny wasn't happy about the change in subject but didn't press further

[Seviper the Fang Snake 368]

"So you think those bots are still looking for ya?" Seviper asked Danny.

"I'm hoping they've given up by now and think I escaped

[Skye Prower 386]

"Do you want me to check?" asked Skye

[Danny Felixe 330]

"Err... if you want" Danny said

[Skye Prower 386]

"It might let you know if you're safe or not," said Skye, settling down in his chair and shutting his eyes.  A moment later his whole body went limp.

Danny stood up

 

"Skye?" he asked worried

[Skye Prower 386]

There was no response from Skye.

Danny moved over and began shaking Skye

 

"Skye? You okay?" he asked

[Skye Prower 386]

Skye's body was oddly ridged.  After slumping in the chair, it seemed to have locked into position.  And it felt a little strange to the touch as well.  But Skye still did not respond.

"What the?" Danny said under his breath as he tried to shake Skye

Skye's eyes snapped open and his head jerked up.  He gave a cry of surprise seeing Dylan right next to him, pushing away and causing himself and the chair to fall on the ground.

Danny fell backwards at being pushed

 

"What are you?" he asked

Vivian used her powers to stop Skye from falling right before he hit the floor and then she put his chair back on it's original place "You okay Skye?" she asked

Skye shook his head slight as he stood up.

 

"What makes you ask that?" Skye asked back.  "Oh, and the robot's aren't looking for you, but they do have your description stored.  And I'm fine thank you Vivian.  Just a little surprised."

"Just asking." She answered

"There's something not right about you. It was difficult to move you at all and there was something strange about how you felt" Danny said

[Skye Prower 386]

"It was nice of you to ask," smiled Skye to Vivian, the he turned to Danny, tails wagging again.  "It m-must have been your i-imagination."

"....You did look quite.. um.. unique while.. scanning I suppose? Kind of like Nicole." Vivian said

"Don'ttry to fool me,Skye. I'm smart enough to know something is up" Danny said

Hearing Nicole's name Skye's tails almost tied themselves into a knot.

 

"I... u-uuh.... I-I'm..." Skye looked towards the exit.

Vivian looked at Danny for a while before talking "Well it's not like we know everything about you either.. Besides I'm sure Skye's got a good reason to keep the things he's not telling as a secret.. I mean.. Everyone's got at least one or two things they don't tell to anyone."

"I have nothing to hide!" Danny said. "And knowing who you're dealing with is important in what I do"

"And what you do is...?" Asked Vivian looking at Danny

"What has your fur in a knot Danny!?" Asked Seviper.
