Kimi moved to the door and tried to listen. She couldn't make out exactly what her mother was saying, but she sound frantic. The the door was flung open, sending Kimi sprawling. Her mother glared at her furiously.

"Of course he wasn't part of the riots. But every lab in the country is now being raided by the police," said her Mother.
