"It's  their nature." Said Seviper.

The glares continued.  Even Skye was feeling uncomfortable.

"What are we looking for?" asked Zoe.

"I guess so," nodded Ziona.  "Maybe one day they'll grow out of it."

Dominic started crying

"Hey, don;t cry," said Skye, feeling guilty as he went over to hug Dominic.  'If only Miles was here...' he thought.

Dominic hugged back but kept crying

"It's okay Dominic.  It's not your fault," insisted Skye.

"You were getting angry with me earlier!" Dominic pointed out

"I...uh.... I didn't want you to cry though, just see you were wrong," said Skye looking down.

"Posters and pretty colors!" Said Fenn.

 

"Perhaps." Replied Seviper.

"I was crying earlier! Dominic said

"Oh!  of course!" grinned Zoe.

"Sorry, I'm getting to philosophical," said Ziona.

"You..er... y-yeah, sorry..." said Skye.

"We need glitter too!" Said Fenn.

 

"Isn't that a type of cheese?" Asked Seviper

"I know where it is!" said Zoe heading to a cupboard.

Ziona laughed.  "You know it might just be!" she smiled.

Fenn watched Zoe.

 

"I knew it!" Said Seviper.

Dominic looked sadly back to his parents

Zoe rummaged in the cupboard then pulled out a couple of tubs of glitter.  "Here we go!" she grinned.

"Of course you did Vipey!" smiled Ziona, leaning over and giving his head a pat.

His parents still had their arms folded, but weren't glaring anymore.

"Okay Dominic, tell us what happened.  The whole truth," said his father.

"Uhh... well... Stacey ran into Sarah and they fought but Sarah was fighting wrong and couldn't do the fire thing so they came to use the pool to try and make her better but it was gone so Stacey tried to use the magic left to do it but it didn't work and I dunno why" Dominic said

His father watched Dominic closely as he told his story, then gave Skye a quick glance.  Skye nodded, as if confirming Dominic's story, though he wasn't sure himself.  He just didn't want Dominic in any more trouble.

"So why didn't you ask one of the adults for permission?" asked his father.

"We didn't wanna" Domminic said

"Despite being told you had to?" his father asked.

"Its a silly rule" Dominic said

[Seviper the Fang Snake 368]

"Yay!" Cheered Fenn.

 

Seviper smiled and put his tail around Ziona.

"No it's not," said his father.

Zoe grinned.  "What else do we need?"

"Mmm, that's nice!" smiled Ziona.
