(Pretty sure.  And if not, we're near the end of this day too!)
 

"Only one way to find out," said Ziona as she moved forward cautiously.

"So did the monster attack?" asked Miles.

Zunnie followed close behind, keeping an eye out for any sentries.

"It came back, and the scraping started to get more aggressive. It was definitely testing the hull of the ship now, seeing if it could find a way in."

"Okay, we'll need to make a quick run for the fence now," whispered Ziona.

"Maybe they could hide in the safe!"

Zunnie nodded and swiftly made her way towards the fence, trying to keep as low as possible.

"Then what happened?" Dominic asked

Ziona followed close by till they reached it.  "I think we made it," said said quietly, checking the fence for booby traps.

"They heard their Father moving as the started to climb, so hid in an alcove."

Zunnie pulled out a multitool and got the wire cutters ready.

"I think that wins the price for most obvious statement ever," joked Zamy.

"Don't do that!" said Ziona quickly.  "It's electrified, and if we cut it, they might detect it."

Miles couldn't help but giggle a bit.

"Yikes. Guess they aren't always useless."

"Naturally the survivors were feeling much more nervous."

"Well they needed something beyond just a fence," said Ziona.  "Can you jump over?"

"The beast seemed to lose interest after an hour or so."

"3.. 2.. 1.. Go!" whispered Ziona, effortlessly jumping over.

"Perfect.  Now find the command centre," said Ziona

"Maybe that building over there with the most guards around it."

"Both groups are going to have to fight them off if they want to survive the night, let's hope they don't waste all of their ammo."

(Spark began to change back to his normal form, this process was very painful.) So much pain. (he yelled, in his room.)

"What was that?" wondered Skye as he heard Spark scream.  He ran to his room.  "Spark, you okay?"

(Spark's body began to rip in half. Then it began to rejevanate back to normal.) Dont come in. (he said slowly.)
