"Oh... okay..." Melody hit the rewind button.

"More or less?" Dominic asked with a giggle

Sarah stayed silent. Bit was shocked

"Well, it's kinda fuzzy," confessed Stacey. "But we'll find the way."

"Sarah?"

"Sure you don't wanna look at the map?" Dominic asked

"Y-y-ye-es?" Sarah asked shakily

"There you go."

"Where's the fun in that?" grinned Stacey.

"Weird," commented Melody.

"It makes sense from a purely technological point of view, but I get what you mean."

"I'm just used to putting a disc in and pressing play. Funny how primitive it is!"

"Well there was something advertised there called LaserDisc. I think that was kind of like what we have now, but they looked huge."

Melody giggled. "Maybe they'll get them smaller in time!"

Hope laughed. "That'll never happen."

"You don't think so?" asked Melody

"I was joking. We have smaller discs now after all."

"Sorry Hope, guess I didn't get the joke," said Melody

"It's ok. Film's starting now."

"Yeah!" Melody grinned, sitting down with her food.

Hope sat down next to her, eating whilst watching the film.

"Is the sound working properly?" asked Melody as the intro started with an odd sound effect rather than the usual music.

Hope thought for a moment before she heard the gunshot and music.

"Yeah I'd say it's working. That was some out of place beeping though."

"Ah, they must have changed it a bit in later films!"

[Shadow the Hedgehog 5]

"Yeah. And what's with this weird dance music all of a sudden?"

Shadow had left the lab to get some drinks and returned with a large bottle of cola and a few cups from the kitchen.

"Never let it be said I wasn't generous," he joked.

"Uh... I have no idea... maybe it's somehow relevant to the plot," suggested Melody. "Heh, thanks Shadow. We're all set then!"

"Maybe. Oh, thank you Shadow," said Hope, taking a cup and having a sip.

"I could get used to this," she laughed.

"Yeah, not a bad life for a military complex!" grinned Melody.
