Melody nodded as Zamy disappeared. "I guess I'd be arrested if I did something bad to dad..."

"Only if you got caught."

"Given i'd be the only one visiting, I think it'd be pretty obvious..." said Melody

"True. You'll think of something."

[Skye Prower 386]

"Might need to settle for just verbal abuse," said Melody.

"That should be enough."

[Skye Prower 386]

"Yeah. I am curious as to how he's taking to his new form," said Melody.

"From what I've been told, he lost his mind."

Melody looked disappointed. "Awwww,. I hope he's at least coherent enough so I can mock him."

"I hope so too."

"Do you want to come?" asked Melody, speeding the treadmill back up

"I'm ok thanks. Doesn't sound like my kind of thing."

"I guess not, yeah," said Melody.

"I think I'll have my machine finished earlier than expected."

"Really? Great! Something to look forward to when I get back!" said Melody, cranking the treadmill to maximum.

"Yeah. Should be good, if it works."

After delivering Hope R, Zamy returned to her apartment where Zouge appeared a few minutes after.

"Hey Zamy. How you holding up?" she asked.

"I'm ok other than that implanted memory episode earlier. I don't know what triggered it."

"Yeah, we can do whatever we can imagine in there!" said Melody happily.

"Exactly. You'll never notice me switch it to nightmare mode."

"You wouldn't.... would you?" asked Melody

[Shadow the Hedgehog 5]

"Of course not. I'm not cruel."

[Skye Prower 386]

"Phew! But remind me not to anger you before I step into your machine," said Melody as she slowed the treadmill back to walking speed.

"I'm sure you won't."

"What was it about?" asked Zouge.

"It was me being beaten up by my old academy class. I know it's totally false, but it still shook me up."

"Yeah, you do seem hard to get angry, even after all the craziness we've gone through," said Melody, stepping off the treadmill. "Oh, it feels good to be able to move on my own again!"

"I try to be patient."

"That's horrible. I'm glad you're pushing through. I'm sorry to see it's still happening, but if you're recognising they're fake it's a good sign. Just don't forget you have friends," smiled Zouge.
