Dylan didn't answer that. He just kept hugging

"Dylan?" asked Miles

"Yeah?" Dylan asked looking up at Miles grinning

"Ok, I'm going to get Rouge quickly," said Hope as she rushed out the door.

"I think we're forgetting our marshmallows!" said Miles. He turned to see Skye had pulled out a handful.

"Oh yeah! MORE MARSHMALLOWS!" Dylan shouted grabbing 3 and starting to cook them all at once over Skye's ears

yah sure Skye, but make sure not to let it drip on my head please.

Hope appeared a minute or so later with Rouge.

"We can't just have one normal day," she muttered.

"Yay! Your rweally gwreat Uncwle Spwark!" said Skye as he began roasting a marshmallow over Spark's ears, using his hand, not a skewer. He tried to sit as still as possible for Miles and Dylan. "Thwis is fun!" he giggled.

"Just be careful with three they don't all burn," warned Miles to Dylan.

"Still WAY more normal than the day I had before coming here," said Melody, not sure whether to laugh or sigh.

"Yeah! Really REALLY fun!" Dylan said giggling too. The whole concept of roast marshmallows over Skye was funny to him. He took his skewer away from Skye and turned to Miles

"Are these done, Uncle Miles?" he asked

Hope gave a slight laugh. "Yeah."

"Almost Dylan. There's a little bit of white left there," pointed out Miles. "We really should do this more often. Hey, how about a camping trip in a few days?"

"Should we tell her, or will that just freak her out?" Melody asked Hope with a wink.

"Hope's told me about a something busting out of a gem, which by the way I would have taken much better care of. What's the really freaky part?" asked Rouge.

"That sounds like GREAT FUN!" Dylan exclaimed excitedly as he moved the skewer back over Skye's ears

Hmm, a camping trip isn't that bad of a idea the girls are out bonding we should to. (he said trying not to move.)

"YEAH!" Dylan exclaimed, agreeing with Spark

Skye giggled as he finished roasting two marshmallows, then handed one to Spark.

"True. Though I might be busy tonight, so it'll need to wait I'm afraid," said Miles.

"Actually, it was a orb, not a crystal, so you didn't loose anything shiny!" laughed Melody. "Okay, so... first, one of Skye's magical experiments got out of his lab, and enchanted Haven's swimming pool..."

"Aww..." Dylan whined, clearly disappointed

"It doesn't have to be shiny, it sounded like a brilliant shade of purple. I can't believe you smashed it Shadow. An enchanted swimming pool? Why am I not surprised?"

"I'm sorry Dylan. But I'm sure you'll find other fun stuff to do," said Miles.

"It WAS radiating evil magic. Not the sort of thing you want in a collection," pointed out Melody. "And it gets worse. Dylan fell in, then Harmony pushed Skye in, then Skye and Dylan pushed Ziona in. And all three are now little kids. And different species."

Rouge shuddered. "That's creepy. It won't be permanent will it?"

"I think Skye said it'd be a week. But it was hard to tell cause he had this cute little lisp." MElody gave a small laugh. "And I think Miles is trying to find a way to cancel the effect sooner."

"Well at least they'll be normal soon enough."

Maybe some other time. In fact I won't be here either most likely. (he said eating the marshmallow Skye gave him.)
