"And probably endangered everyone in the city," added Melody with a laugh. Then she smiled broadly at Hope. "Thank you. I'm feeling much better already."

Hope returned the smile. "It's what friends are for."

Shadow reached the object and looked it over: it was a large purple orb.

"There has to be a reason for this being here. A totally barren structure just to hide one relic...." thought Shadow as he pondered why it was there.

Dylan looked up in the trees to see Skye

"Hey look!" he called to Ziona and Miles pointing to Skye

"Thwis is fwun!" Skye called down.

"See, Dylan said you could do cool stuff," said Ziona, unfurling her wings and swooping through the trees behind him

"Hmm," Miles pondered to himself. "He seems to enjoy physical movement a lot more than he used to."

"Yeah. I... didn't take you from anything important for my silly problems did I?" asked Melody.

"Not really. Shadow is on mission but I've got my radio in case of emergencies. And if there is one I wouldn't be of any more use in my lab than I am here, as he pointed out."

"It looks fun!" Dylan called up to Skye. Then he looked to Ziona

"I can't do cool stuff like you two can!" He called sounding a little sad

"You mean like turning invisible and changing colors?" asked Miles. "And can't Chameleons climb up surfaces?"

Skye and Ziona sped up, moving ahead of the other two.

"Unless you need to look something up on you're computers," said Melody. "Hmm, could I... could I visit your lab now?"

"Climb up surfaces?" Dylan asked curiously. He hadn't thought about that

"Why don't you give it a try," suggested Miles.

Hope thought hard for a moment. " i have nothing top secret on display, and you can't exactly run anywhere. I think I can."

"That'd be great. Yeah, I can't get into much trouble like this," Melody grinned, tapping her wheelchair. "Hey, maybe you'll get a chance to add a motor. And maybe some laser guns and a helicopter blade!" she added laughing.

Dylan looked at a nearby tree and went over it. He put his hands on the surface then looked back at Miles as if to ask if he was doing it right

Miles nodded and smiled. "I think that's how it works."

"Heh, maybe just a motor to start with. I'd hate to hear about that helicopter blade accidentally carving up your room."

Dylan looked back at the tree. He took a deep breath and began climbing it

"Hey! I can do it!" He cried out happily, climbing the tree with ease

"That's really good Dylan", said Miles. "Let's catch up with the others now."

Melody burst out laughing. "Oh, I'd try not to use it inside!"

"Okay! Coming down" Dylan called. He turned himself around and began climbing facedown, clearly enjoying it

"That can't have gone that far," said Miles, looking ahead.

Dylan stopped climbing down

"Do you want me climb back up and see where they are?" he asked already turning himself around ready to climb back up

Miles gave a smile, knowing Dylan want to make himself feel useful.

"That would be a great idea," he said. "How about making sure they don't see you to!" he added, trying to make Dylan feel he was even more suited to the job.

"Good to hear. You ready to go?"

Melody finished the last mouthful of ice cream. "Ready!"

Dylan grinned at Miles and turned himself invisible before beginning to climb the tress again

Skye and Ziona were several trees ahead, both had stopped moving and were sitting on a high branch, looking around.

Miles smiled and waited for Dylan to return.

Hope grabbed her own which was in a takeaway bowl and teleported them both to her lab.

"Welcome to my wondrous laboratory!" said Hope in an exagerrated voice.
