"Well, that certainly didn't help diplomacy," Ziona muttered as the newcomer started attack. "Wide beam stun setting," she murmured to herself, as she altered the settings on her weapon, aimed at the ground, and fired.

"I suppose you're right."

"Now this is a fight." One of the said as they took their weapons and some murmured something about spells.

"Berry! They are gonna use spells, it's dangerous now." Kayl said softly and closed her eyes as she softly said.

A weird vibration followed and the entire place shakes, knocking out some of the soldiers.

"Know is your chance!" Kayla said to Ziona.

'Either that or you whip up a thought blocker in the next few hours. Or we lead line our bedroom walls!'

"So much for the warning shot!" muttered Ziona. This time she aimed at the whole group, hoping to catch them all in the stun blast. Ziona fired.

Berry came flying towards the group.

"I am tired, I haven't used all my powers for a while now."

And she saw as most of the were caught, but some still managed.

"I hope you can handle them, miss Ziona." She said as she laid on the grass and Kayl helped her, "I haven't fought since ages."

"Glen, stop lying down and give me a hand" said Ziona as she swapped from wide beam to single shots, continuing to fire.

(ooc: And that's me back to work now, sorry to leave you in the lurch!)

"Mr Glen is here top." Berry's said, "well, if that's that, then." Berry stood up, gestured Ziona, Glen and Kayl to close their eyes and ears.

A while later, a strong sound penetrated through their ears.

They opened eyes to see all the soldiers, including Berry- knocked out.

Glen was already busy shooting when the powerful shriek happened . Good thing the Legion got some good ears protection. Once it was over , he ran toward the group, a bit weakened but still going."What da heck was that ?" He said Looking at the unconscious berry."

"You can believe me on that." Said Young Red."There were some thing , back on moebius.... at least , this only look crazy ."

Kayl picked up Berry, concerned, "It has been a while since she used her powers as she is not into fighting. She needs to go near some warm place- quick."

Glen sighed ."Follow me. "Said Glen."Can you carry or do you need some help ?"

Kayl made a fairly annoyed face after Glen's sigh, "No, thank you." She said.

"...fine."Said Glen , putting Berry on his back."Let's go .I suppose Zionna is staying behind to talk to her superior or some stuff. So we are going first." He looked at zionna."We'll be at the hotel , see you later on." And Glen Left with Berry.

"Geez' wait for me!" Kayl said.

"I though you were behind me..." Said Glen, as he was making his way tothe hotel.

"Try time travelling and fighting one after another." Kayl said, "I am Kayle-ne, what's your name?"

"Hey don't tell me what to do. I'm not exactly better shaped, cutie."Answered back Glen."Name's Glen. Ex-soldier."

"Yeah, you're the one carrying load." Kayl giggled, "sorry, then. Ex-soldier, huh? Learning physicist."

"And since when does a physicist gets into fights with so much ease?"Asked Glen, smiling ."You are more than meet the eye, aren't you ?"

Kayl blushed, "Am I?" She laughed, "it just happened. Is Berry heavy? I can carry her if you want."

"Maybe you are ."Said Glen."And no, I'm fine. We are almost there ."

"I don't really know," she said, laughing, "When did Berry reach here?"

"Not so long ago, after the sunset I think."Said Glen."And here we are ."

"My calculations were correct!" She happily said, "she is 'wanted' for a week now"

"I see." said Glen." And what exactly happenned ?"

"She never said? Her adoptive father and brother turned out some really smart thieves and she was blamed because her real father is in jail for a different reason and pretty much it. While she was gone, everyone she had contacts with, including her fiancé were arrested. They couldn't arrest me because I am not native of their place, I'm an echidna so I came to look after her. I think she has well-wishers already." She said.
