"Cool!" exclaimed Melody as she headed to her room to grab her CD's. On the way back she grabbed her tiara and placed it one her head.

Hope went into the kitchen and grabbed some snacks before prepping some more milkshakes, humming happily as the blender whirred.

"Hmm, which one," Melody pondered as she flicked through the CD's. "Melody said she wanted to relax, I think this one looks most relaxing," she said as she put the CD on.

Hope poured out their milkshakes then headed back to the balcony.

"What do you think?" Melody asked, indicting towards the speaker where the music was playing. "And those are just normal milkshakes, right?"

"It's quite nice. And yes, there's nothing special in them."

[Skye Prower 386]

"Good. I think we'll pass on the alcohol for a while. And maybe magic as well for a bit."

"Agreed. And we should definitely never mix them."

[Skye Prower 386]

"Agreed. Never, ever, ever again! Just... this hasn't put you off practicing magic completely, has it?" Melody asked.

[Shadow the Hedgehog 5]

"No. It's just made me even more cautious. I work with hazardous materials all day, so I've faced greater risks."

"That's good. I'd hate to think that I'd scared you off."

[Shadow the Hedgehog 5]

"Well luckily you haven't. It was just an unfortunate accident."

[Skye Prower 386]

"Yeah. And we'll do our best to avoid those in the future," said Melody, chinking her milkshake glass against Hope's. She leaned back and started watching the sunset.

'If I had Skye talent for summoning objects,' she thought to herself, 'I'd summon a pair of 'BFF' bracelets for Hope and me! Both to say sorry, and 'cause it's true. Though, that might be a little too sappy.'

"I wouldn't mind you doing that one day, it'd be a nice ges- wait, how did you do that without opening your mouth?" asked Hope.

"Wha... pardon?" asked Melody confused. "Do what? And what are you talking about?"

"You were mentioning one day magicing up a pair of bracelets for us. But your lips never moved."

'How does she know THAT?!?' flashed across Melody's mind with strong embarrassment, and a slight note of panic.

"I... never said anything like that," said Melody aloud.

"Wait, you said you didn't but asked how I knew? What's going on here?" worriedly asked Hope.

"What... what are you talking about Hope?" asked Melody concerned and confused. She looked at her milkshake. "Are you SURE there's nothing unusual in these?"

"To the shovel !" Said Tikal happily.

Red took anna closer in her Arms ."Anna... don't be sad , I'm here now. Everyone is here now."

Gleb quickly joined Zionna and sat down next to her, Starting to dry himself ."See? That was nice."

"Yes I'm sure! I don't understand what's happening here."

Skye laughed and used his magical to create a couple of shovels. "Know any motivational digging songs?" he asked jokingly.

"Just... just calm down Hope," said Melody. Hope's worry was starting to get agitate her more than usual. "Just slow down and think it through. You're smart, you should work it out. Is anything even still happening?"

"I know, thank you, thank you" happy to have Red there to comfort her. "It something I'll need to get used to with this new life. I'm a different person than who I was."

"Yes it was," said Ziona, taken Glen's towel and helping to dry him off. "You're right, it was much better than moping around the hotel."

"Ok, ok just let me think!" said Hope.

"She's not practicing to be a vantriliquist, that's for sure. But what's going on here? Can I hear her thoughts? Oh I knew I should've tested out the chronosphere more before using it," she thought to herself.

Melody had gone back to looking at the sunset, trying to put the oddity of what just happened out of her head.

"Hope," she said, still looking out at the sunset rather than at Hope. "Will you PLEASE stop thinking out loud? It's rather disconcerting. And no, I'm certainly NOT a ventriloquist. And you should think of less crazy solution than the hearing thoughts one!"
