Dylan stood up when he noticed them.

"Hi there. Sorry, I didn't see you come in"

Anna was ahead of Melody and Hope, mainly because she was running alone. She reached to front door to the penthouse, only to realise it was locked. She started fumbling through her pockets for the key.

"Got it," said Melody, as she took a little leap off the wall to catch the ledge of the balcony, then flipped herself and Hope over the railings onto the balcony herself. "Made it!" grinned Melody, who then entered the main room.

Anna found the key and slid it into the lock, entering the main room.

"Mom? Dad? We're back!" both girls called from either side of the room, then burst out laughing as they saw just how close cut it had been!

"Great work Melody!" said Hope.

Rouge glanced up at the pair.

"I thought the idea is to sneak out of a balcony, not up it?" she joked.

"You've got to mix it up now and again!" said Melody to Rouge.

"I'd have won if the door wasn't locked," teased Anna.

"Only because I had a friend we me. If Tikal had been with us, you would have been running with her and it would have been a fair race!" Melody pointed out.

"Well, Lara, I present you Dylan. He is a good friend of mine ." Said Locke.

"I see . Hello Mister Dylan." Said Lara-lee."Anyone else I should be wary of ?"

"Yes . Many others."Answered Locke."But all in due time. Something to drink ?" Asked Locke as Lara took a seat.

Both he and Lara saw Anna and Melody."Hum.... and who would they call 'Dad' ?" She asked . Locke didn't answer .

Eventually they were done eating."Well, that wasn't so bad ."Said Allister .

"Fair point. Did you have a nice time? What have you got there?" asked Rouge, pointing at the bags they were carrying.

"Well, Lara, I present you Dylan. He is a good friend of mine ." Said Locke.

"I see . Hello Mister Dylan." Said Lara-lee."Anyone else I should be wary of ?"

"Yes . Many others."Answered Locke."But all in due time. Something to drink ?" Asked Locke as Lara took a seat.

Both he and Lara saw Anna and Melody."Hum.... and who would they call 'Dad' ?" She asked . Locke didn't answer .

Melody held up the bags. "A new wardrobe for Anna and Tikal. They needed new clothes after all. And we had a great time. I think Hope might have something to show you to!"

"I... uh.. well.. Dad... mmmm, hmmm, hmhhhmmmm?" Anna began to say to Locke and Lara-le before Melody hurtled over to her and covered Anna's mouth with her hand.

"I think I have an idea who the new face is she whispered to Anna, so shhh! for the moment!" She then faced Locke. "Uh... do you want to do the introductions?"

Skye, Lucas and Tikal reached the park.

"They could be anywhere. If I tell you want they look like, we could split up to find them?" Miles suggested.

"Alright, Let's head home then." Said Red."Nothing will be better than a good bath after this quite'demanding' Day."

Lara's expression went from normal to shocked."YOU HAVE CHILDREN ? HOW ? AND WHY DO THEY SEEM SO OLD ?"

Locke tried to calm her down."Please , lara, they aren't ... " "NO PLEASE !!!" "But..." "NOT EVEN A BUT !!"

Locke eventually had enough."THESE AREN'T MY REAL CHILDREN ! THEY ARE ADOPTES FOR AURORA'S SAKE ! DOES THAT MEAN SOMETHING TO YOU ?"

Lara backed off a bit from locke's sudden outburst."Alright... I might have over reacted . But what about knuckles ? Did you forgot him?" Asked Lara .

"No I haven't ." Said Locke."But Now , he has grown . He would want more peace at the moment ..." answered Locke.

"It would be better if we stayed together ." Said Tikal.

"Sure thing," replied Miles. He'd need to be careful with his illusion spell then. He'd have to be ready to fake it being solid, in case the two tried to interact with it. "I said I was going to the arcade, so we should try back there first," he suggested.

"Good idea", replied Skye.

Melody took a few steps back at the arguing pair, while Anna hid behind her, a hint of tears in her eyes.

"Well we found a movie store and bought some films. One of them looks like it has you in it!" said Hope.

Rouge laughed. "I'm not an actress and I've never been one, so it's not me... wait, it's not a found footage style is it?"

Hope shook her head. "That's a relief," said Rouge.

Locke saw the sadness in both children's eyes "Listen lara , if you came here only for us to fight the same way we did so long ago, I'll ask you to stop right now." Said Locke

"But.. alright.."Said Lara."What I want to know is why you have those children ? They aren't even echidna !"

"No matter what is said Lara, these three kids are as much my children than Knuckles , And I'll love them no matter how they look and where they come from ... Listen , I have made mistakes . Terrible ones. I don't want to these kids the same thing that happenned to knuckles . I can do that. I can be a loving father . I.... I need them probably more than they need me ." Said Locke

Lara didn't know what to answer at the moment .

Melody was a little shocked by Locke's confession, but then she remembered how Locke had reacted when Skye had threatened to leave. She turned to Anna and gave her a reassuring hug.

"See. It's gonna be alright. So why don't we introduce ourselves?" Anna gave a little nod, and Melody turned to Lara-le.

"Hi! I'm.... Melody and... this is.... my sister Anna," she said, a little shyly.

"I think the crowd's even busier now!" said Skye as they made their way through.

"There's the arcade ahead," said Miles.

"Well to put it simply a bunch of crazy villagers took me hostage so they could sacrifice me to their harvest god or something. But as you can see I got the upper hand and escaped. And they caught it all on camera."

Crowley took hold of Red and teleported back to the hotel.

"Well that was simple enough."

Lara turned toward Melody."I'm ... sorry . I shouldn't have acted like that toward all of you ." Said Lara. She kept on."Locke has changed , a lot .... I guess I should owe that to you ." She smiled to the two girls .

"I don't think so," replied Crowley as he teleported the both off them into the hotel room.
