"Actually, it's not," said Mina.  "You need them downtrodden enough that they have to work all day, but comfortable, and depended enough that they will not rise up," said Mina.  "A few key enchantments here and there also help."

"I think the phrase 'all of us' is coming," said Melody as Miles nodded.

"You seem to forget these people aren't the same as those on Moebius. They know what freedom is and won't take kindly to it being taken. Not to mention th is far from their only city. You'll never win."

"That doesn't seem like a good place to be when it all goes down."

"Oh I know they've got plenty of other cities," said Mina,, aiming a blow at Zamy.  "That's what the summoning circle is here for."

"No.... but... Given there's only a handful of us we can;t do it from the outside," said Miles.

Zamy moved to parry the blow with her baton and follow with a knee.

"Not so chatty now!" grinned Mina, just dodging the knee.

Anna followed up a planting a kiss on the tip of Spark's nose.

"I sorta guessed," said Skye.  "Okay Fenn, you should now know what this curse is that affecting him."

(Spark's muzzle got redder when Anna kissed his nose.)

Anna giggled again.

"Well if you don;t want to chat..." said Mina, starting to cast a spell

(Spark leaned in and kissed Anna on her forehead.)

Anna giggled more, then sat up a little, yawning.

Are you still tired? (Asked Spark.)

"You don't seem to have much to offer by way of conversation."

"A little.... But I'm just waking up now," said Anna.

"Let's not stand around here then," said Melody.  "We better get set up.  Hope, where is the centre of the circle from here.

"I will be soon... after some coffee," said Anna

Zamy did her best to duck out of the way.

"Your husband tried something similar. I'm not going through that again."

"Head along the street until you reach a pharmacy, then go left and you'll reach the main square which is the centre."

"Ah yes, that was a strange decision on his part.... but knowing my husband he probibly liked it," said Mina dismissively.

"Got it," grinned Melody, grabbing Miles by the arm.  She took off at top speed, casuing Miles to cry out.  "Anywhere inn that square we can hide while we do this?"

"It's a hot drink that helps perk you up," said Anna/

Oh okay. (Said Spark.) I can go get you some.

"I'm not a creep," said Mina, aiming a flurry of blows.
