"M-maybe..... uh.... I-I could..." said Miles quietly

Ziona looked back.  "Where is he?  Where is he?" she squealed.

"What do you plan to do if I do bring you along?"

"I... I know a lot of magic," said Miles.  "S-so I c-could help."

"Have you actually sided with them?  You could have been a Queen, and instead you're allowing yourself to be their slave?" asked Mina.

 

"I'm not a slave!  I can do what I want.  Then only time I was enslaved was when I was forced to obey YOU!" retorted Melody as Mina began to summon the next energy pillar.

Zamy sighed.

"I don't like it but you have a point. Let's go."

"I'll make sure I s-stay safe," said Miles.  "Do you have any more of those headsets?" he asked Hope.

Hope handed one to each of them.

"Not sure what else I can do from here apart from monitor the situation. So good luck."

"See if you can get in touch with some kind of backup?" asked Miles.  "There's gotta be more people that know about combating magic somewhere, right?"

"I'll have a think but I no one springs to mind," replied Hope.

"Maybe someone will," said Miles.  "But we better not hang around."

Zamy teleported herself and Miles to Melody's location, having put her watch back on.

Mina was too intent on creating the next energy pillar to notice Zamy's arrival.

[Spark Falls 1]

(Spark continued to sleep.) Anna. (Spark said talking in his sleep.)

"Mmmmmm?" Anna stired a little again.

[Spark Falls 1]

(Spark went silent.)

"Got a plan?" whispered Zamy.

[Seviper the Fang Snake 368]

Seviper started to grow purple glowing spikes on his head to his tail.

"Whoa...." Said Fenn.

Anna smiled and went back to sleep.

"I... might have," whispered Miles.  "But... it could be a long shot."

"That's not meant to happen!" exclaimed Skye

"I'm all for it. Shooting her didn't seem to work."

"If we can't fight her... shes making a Summoning circle right?  What happens if that's reversed?" he asked rhetorically.

"Can you block the circle?"

[Skye Prower 386]

"Once it's complete, I doubt it.  But... maybe with MElody's help... I can reverse it and send her... wherever she's trying to summon from."

"Ok. What do you need me to do?"

"Once we rescue Melody... er...," Miles looked away.  "I d-don;t w-want you to d-do it, but..."
