Topaz waited til the last second to teleport behind Mina, hoping to throw her off balance as she had to stop at the edge.

Mina twisted, rather than stopping she pushed against the lip at the edge of the roof, leaping into the air above Topaz and aiming another strike at her.

Miles put it in the circle with the other items and started chanting.

(True, but I was expecting more of a 'non-fatal' blow or a flesh wound.  But it's okay, we can roll with it....)
