"I should hope so. If I can make her even a little human that'll avoid the logical killing machine problem."

Miles looked at the radio with something approaching horror.

 

"Er... Hi Zamy..." said Ziona over the radio.

"Yeah.  Give it a conscience!" said Melody.

Zoe giggles and started flying.

Dominic began chasing after

"I don' get how you can do that!" said Zoe, trying to keep up.

 

"Do you think we're doing the right thing by staying?" Dominic's Father asked his partner.

 

"Yes, I do.  We want.. one of theses lives.  And we're not replacing anyone by doing this," she replied.  "And I... already feel a connection with... our son."

"Dominic's parents have shown up," said Ziona.  "Or... according to Skye... these creature that feed of magic somehow became intelligent because of all the magic around here, and want to act as Dominic's parents."

"That sounds quite creepy. With all that energy from the pool there.... maybe you should get Zark."

"We could show her the film using that camera. It'd test her processing functions."

"Yeah, you're right.  And I should.  But if they are benevolent, it would make things easier here," said Ziona.

"Er... shouldn't we show her a... nicer film?" asked Melody

"Just because they appear benevolent does not mean they are. Be careful." She turned to Miles. "It's a good thing I brought you back here after all."

"The content of the film doesn't matter, I just want to tes thow well she distinguishes fact from fiction, or if it causes any reaction."

"Do what?" Dominic asked still chasing after

"I will.  I'l get Zark and let him know what's going on!" said Ziona.
