"How is that even possible!" asked Miles shocked.

Melody sprung up from her chair and whirled around.

"Er... y-yeah?" asked Skye.

"You okay?" Dominic asked wide eyed

"I could have you breaking rocks for the day."

"Sorry, must have been my mistake," laughed Hope.

"Buying what? You don't think they're real?" Dominic asked upset

"Sure. You could get some help from some 'friendly' convicts too."

Dominic's face went from sadness to anger

"They ARE real! You MUST believe it!" He said

"I'm not trying to be the bad guy Dominic....I don't want you to get hurt." Said Seviper.

"I won't! Mom and dad won't hurt me!" Dominic said with a growl

"We don't want to hurt our son!" said Dominic's father to Seviper.

 

"Please... if you have to talk about this, can we not do it in front of him?" his mother asked.

Miles gulped.  "I don;t think they'd be happy to see me."

"Why not? I can listen! I want to!" Dominic said stamping his foot

"Calm down Dominic," said his father in a firm voice with a warning tone.

[Seviper the Fang Snake 368]

"You don't have to worry about me saying anything cause I'm leaving!" Said Seviper as he slithered away.

"I know, which is why I'm joking."

"Yep. Anything else you want to ask Faith?"

"Hmph!" Dominic said crossing his arms. "I can stay if I want!"

"S-seviper... you don't need to leave!" said Skye.

 

"Young Man, you need to behave," said Dominic's Father.

"Forget it. It's best I not hang around." Said Seviper.

"Son, given what's happening, it's only normal that he's unsure.  It means he cares about you," said Dominic's father.

 

"No, wait, come back!" called Skye, running after Seviper.

"It's still mean of him!" Dominic said with a scowl
