"That little brat back there's given me a headache," she muttered to herself, before kneeling fown in front of Miles.

"Miles, please look at me," she said softly.

"Er... want me to run some tests? asked Skye.

Very slowly, Miles looked up with tear stained eyes.

"I-I know.... I s-still don't like r-remembering... but I keep bringing it up!" said Anna, scared, but also giving a resigned laugh.

Anna smiled, offering her hand to shake.  "Nice to meet you too!"

"I'm not a hybrid!" he said. "I'm not any wolf!"

"Nobody died or even got serioudly hurt. A couple of those cocky brats just had their pride hurt."

"But... that was before you came back and used the pool to separate you from Dylan," said Ziona.  "What if the pool changed you?"

"That chameleon sure sounded like one back there. And I still vividly remember Miss 'I don't take orders from hedgehogs'."

"It can't have!" he said

"She... was a brat, yeah," admitted Miles.  "But Dominic is normally a nice kid..."

"All their hyperbole about being ninjas is at least obvious given their reactions. Not exactly calm and collected."

Topaz headed to the TV room.

"This place is laid out more like a hotel than a base."

"They are only eight or so," said Miles.  "But... they can be a little... arrogant... most kids are."

"This is the living area.  The floor below is all the control rooms, then the labs and stuff are below that," said Melody.

"Thankfully I don't have to deal with that from now on," replied Zamy, getting out a large cylindrical device that she plugged in. There was a small opening in the front.
