"Everyone gather together!" said Ziona.

"The way that girl moves so fast, that the woman suddenly appeared, and how they reached the barn so fast, I call that magic!" said the large wolf, before howling loudly.  "But they'll soon have other things to worry about," he grinned.  "And it will be good to finally have some worthy prey."

 

Hearing the howl, the werewolves started to retreat, and Melody froze slightly.

"Perhaps you are right. We can discuss this when we're safe," the woman replied, quicjly walking back into town. Hope ran to Melody andhelped her back to the others.

"Nice work. Now we need to make sure you don't turn into one of them," she said in a concerned tone.

"We'll see," said the large wolf, shifting back into a mobian form.

 

"Huh... Hope?" asked Melody, seeming a little bit spaced out.  "That was fun!" she grinned.  "And I'm not gonna turn into one of them!"

"You were bitten! You might not know anything about werewolves, but I do."

"Wait... being bitten is how you turn?  But... it wasn't a proper bite," said Melody.

"If the teerh went in... and you just froze up too."

"There... uh... must have... been something magical about that howl..." said Melody.

Mark moved over to Ziona

Sarah waited for Stacey

Dominic waited for Skye to move

"Mody, we can save you but you can't keep denying it's happening."

Skye jogged over as well, and Stacey moved up as Ziona landed on Zoe's back.

 

"Okay, I think that's everyone," said Ziona.

"Er... okay, okay," said Melody rubbing her head.  "But we've got time right.  That creepy lady said I wouldn't change till the next full moon.  That must be a while away, right?"

"It's tomorrow, I think," said HRH Hope.

"W-what?" asked Melody shocked.  "You're joking right?"

[Shadow the Hedgehog 5]

"I'm not. But if it helps there may be an easy cure: we kill the werewolf that bit you."

"Er... the big ugly one?  That should be easy," said Melody as her legs gave way.

Sarah followed Stacey

"Ready!" Dominic said

Hope rushed to catch her friend.

"Are you ok?" she asked.

"It shouldn't be too hard actually. I have 30 friends who can all run faster than he can," remarked Topaz.

"Right!"  Ziona quickly teleported everyone back to Haven./

"Yeah... my legs... just felt heavy all of a sudden," said Melody, rubbing her injured arm.  "I... think he's pretty tough though!" she warned Topaz.

[Shadow the Hedgehog 5]

"This is bad. Want me to carry you?" asked Hope

Topaz smiled. "I'll be careful. This isn't my first rodeo,"

"I... I think... I can walk!" said Melody.  "G-good luck Topaz."

"We'll camp a little furtber in for tonight. No use charging in after them," suggested Topaz.

[Skye Prower 386]

"Okay..." said Melody.  "If... you can't kill the werewolf, how else could you cure me?"

[Seviper the Fang Snake 368]

"Yeesh! That teleporting makes my skin crawl." Said Seviper.

"Sorry Seviper," apoligised Ziona.

"I've no idea. Maybe I shpuld catch one and do a little interrogation."

"Do it, please.  Being monstrous like that is a transformation too much even for me!" said Melody
