Hope froze for a moment.

"He bit you?" she asked nervously, bandaging the arm.

"Who else could it be!?" Said Seviper.

"Yeah! It was! Hi Ziona!" Dominic said waving

[Skye Prower 386]

"I wouldn't call it really 'bitten'," said Melody.  "His teeth just caught my arm."

"Hi Ziona, Hi Seviper," smiled Skye.  "Good to see you back on your feet.  Er.. so to speak!"

"Yeah! We were worried!" Dominic said

"I'll let you have that one." Said Seviper.

Fenn walked up to Seviper looking a little mad.

"His teeth still went into you! That means.." Hope gulped.

"We can sort it out later, right now we need to push these things back," yelled Topaz, hurling a stun grenade at the closing pack.

"At least you okay now," said Skye, watching Fenn.

"It's just a scratch, calm down," said Melody a little tense.  She got into a combat pose.

"Fenn? What's wrong?" Dominic asked

"Ok, go. You stab, I shoot."

[Seviper the Fang Snake 368]

Fenn used a weak ember attack on Seviper's tail.

"Ow! That hurt!" Said Seviper blowing on his tail.

"Don't you do that again Mister!" Said Fenn trying to sound grownup.

Dominic stared for a moment then burst into giggles

Ziona just about managed to keep a straight face, but Zoe and Harmony failed to do so.

"Got it!" said Melody with a grin as she changed at the pack

Topaz took aim.

[Seviper the Fang Snake 368]

"I'm sorry kiddo." Said Seviper.

"Okay. I forgive you." Said Fenn as the two hugged.

"Awww... cute!" Dominic said

Melody slashed out at the two lead werewolves, who reared back in pain.

 

From a nearby hillock, the large wolf observed the fight.  "Those girls are not normal," he growled.

"Awwwwwww," said Ziona and Zoe in unison.

 

"It's nice to see you two together again," said Skye.

Topaz shot a round each at the lead wolves in quick succession, hitting them centre mass.

"Two down!  Lot's to go!" grinned Melody, enjoying the adrenaline rush more than she normally would as she struck at the next werewolf.

"So what are we waiting for!?" Said Seviper.

Topaz fired again at the next target. At the edge of the forest, the woman was also observing, still having not changed into her bestial form.

"I think we may have met our undoing."

[Skye Prower 386]

"So are we heading back home now?" asked Ziona.

The large wolf padded over to the woman.  "We can't stand against their magics!" he growled.

"Waiting for what?" Dominic asked

[Seviper the Fang Snake 368]

"Anything." Said Seviper to Dominic.

"I don't think that's magic killing our pack. Regardless you have a point, pull the rest back now. We'll rethink this," she said, smirking slightly.

"You always did want a 'worthy' challenge, it seems now you have one."
