Dominic smiled

 

"Yeah! We wouldn't! Do you... like us here?" he asked

"Some knives. I was mainly concerned with what I could carry."

"Of course I do!  What kinda question is that?" asked Skye shocked.

"Makes sense.  I'll claim one of those knives.  Got a bit of payback to do!" said Melody

"Nothing...I was just asking...thank you!" Dominic said hugging Skye

"You're welcome Dominic," smiled Skye, hugging the Chameleon back.  "Wanna piggy back ride?"

"YEAH!" Dominic exclaimed enthusiastically

"Okay, climb on," said Skye kneeling down.

Dominic climbed on excited

"Here we go," said Skye, standing up and starting to run

"WHEEEEE..."Dominic cheered putting his hands in the air

Skye giggled at Dominic's enthusiasm.

"Faster! Faster!" Dominic said

[Seviper the Fang Snake 368]

Seviper spots the group.

"There they are." Said Seviper.

Skye laughed and ran faster, though he stumbled a bit.

 

"Yes... it looks like they're none the worse," said Ziona.

[Shadow the Hedgehog 5]

"If you can stab the wolves with the silver knife, I can take them out with my rifle. Hopefully they'll retreat if we put up rnough resistance."

Dominic giggled as Skye stumbled

 

"But be careful!" he said

"Sounds like a plan," said Melody, taking the knife with her uninjured arm.

"I'll... I'll try!" said Skye regaining his balance.  "My tails help!"

"Good!" Dominic said grinning

"You ok? Looks like something snagged you," said Topaz, spotting the wound. Hope moved in to look as well.

"Wanna fly for a bit?" asked Skye.

"It's just a scratch," said Melody.  "It just needs a bandage and I'll be fine."

"That's for sure!" Said Seviper.

"Uh... I like being near the ground..." Dominic said. "'Cause I have Earth powers and stuff"

"How did you get that?" asked Hope as she cleaned the wound with Topaz's medical kit.

"Hey kids!  We're back!" Ziona called.  "Seviper's okay."

 

"Ah, I guess that makes sense," said Skye.  "Was that Ziona?"

"Wasn't quite agile enough to full dodge that big ugly wolf, but at least he didn't manage to bite my arm off.  Chalk that up to another sign I'm rusty," said Melody.
