"Can I go now?" Asked Seviper.

"You may." Replied the doctor.

"Why did things have to go this way?"

"But it was really only a few days ago," said Skye.

"Okay, shall we get back to the others?" asked Ziona.

The big wolf tried to give chase but Melody, with her super speed, was already some distance away.

 

'Okay Hope, I got away!' though Melody, rubbing her bleeding arm.  'Where are you?'

"Yeah." Said Seviper getting up.

"Running into the woods not far away from the houses," thought Hope.

"Okay.  Thank you doctor!" said Ziona before teleporting herself and Seviper back.  "We weren't long so they shouldn't be far away"#

'Great, I'll meet you there, then we can get outta here!' thought Melody hurtling towards the woods.

"Not yet. We can't leave this things to roam the countryside."

"I hope I didn't scare them with the whole twitching and what not." Said Seviper.

'Er... can't we wait till morning when they'll be a little less big?' asked Melody as she reached the woods.

"You might have a little," said Ziona.  "But I'm sure they'll be alright."

"Sure, if we live that long."

'Teleport away to somewhere safe, then teleport back?' suggested Melody.  'Right, I'm in the woods now!'

"I think I see you. Crap, more of them."

'It's gonna be hard to outrun them, they're pretty fast!' thought Melody as she spotted the group and ran over.  "There you are!"

"I think we might be able to take 'em. We have the element of surprise," said Topaz.

"Two days!" Dominic said grinning s he held up two fingers

"Unless you've got a lot of silver bullet's, we're pretty horribly outnumbered," said Melody as she rubbed her arm.

"Yeah! We got back here yesterday! Remember?" Dominic asked

"Yeah... but the whole thing... is kinda fuzzy for me," said Skye.

"Oh yeah! Right" Dominic said giggling

Topaz pointed to her pistol.

"Fifteen silver bullets in the magazine, and one spare filled with them, so that's 30..The rest are normal copper and lead. I only had these ones as a novelty."

Skye giggled a little to.  "But I'm glad it happened."
