"Um...weren't... you and Harmony...going to do some flying?"he askedquietly

"Er... more... I didn't want to be an evil tyrant like my parents... and the Kingdom.. sorta got erased from existance..." said Melody.

"I was expecting a somersault!" giggled Miles.

"Oh, yes, of course.  Thanks Mark," said Miles, ruffling his head.

"I did a somersault... I crashed in a tree." Said Seviper.

Skye looked at Seviper.  "Who said anything about a somersault?"

"My injury was caused by that...then again it was also cause of stupidity." Replied Seviper.

"Oh, I see.." said Skye.

"Well at least you maintai ed a conscience. Despots don't last long around here. Especially if their bodyguard gets paid by the angry villagers to leave the gate open. Thankfully her highness is s kind ruler."

"That... kinda thing was what Mom wanted me to do," said Melody, her eyes darting to her knife again for a moment.  "I just wanted to wear the crown and pretty dresses."

Mark looked embarrassed at having his head ruffled

"It was nice to escape," said Melody.  "Even if... I needed to go through some horrible stuff to do it."

Skye smiled at Mark, then tried not to giggle at Dylan's question to Seviper.

 

"C'mon Harmony, we were gonna practice for a bit!"

"I guess that clears a few things up..." Dylan said to himself

 

Mark looked over to Harmony

"That's great!" cried Harmony happily, then she ran and hugged Mark.  "Thank you," she whispered.

"I...uh...you're welcome?" he asked

"That's great," said Harmony.  "Hey, Skye, can Mark come with us?  Just... the other kids are gonna do chores, and I don't want Mark to be alone."

 

"She really seems to like Mark," Zoe whispered to Dominic.

"That... wouldn't be fair though" Mark said

 

 "Yeah. She does" Dominic said with a giggle

"Nah, it's okay.  It'll give you something to do," said Harmony.

 

"Maybe Auntie Harmony will want to adopt him then," said Zoe.

"Only...if it's okay then" Mark said

 

"Maybe! Then I'll have two cousins!" Dominic said grinning

Skye looked at Harmony.  "If Harmony really wants you there, tehn it is Mark."

 

"That would be nice," said Zoe,

 

"Isn't Auntie Harmony too young to adopt," asked Stacey.
