"Enough about my world and what a terrible place it is." Said Seviper.

Mark looked at Harmony worried

"Um... okay" Dylan said

Melody's eyebrow might have risen involuntarily with amusement as the other Hope mentioned 'princess' and she cast a slidlong glance at her Hope.  "Well, we're not here to spy, so.. yeah, ambassadors works!"

"Let's talk about more pleasant stuff," said Miles.

"Ok, you were right," thought Hope to Melody.

"Very well then. I shall show you to my court room," replied the regal Hope as she turned and headed further into the castle. "You shall be given quarters and a tour of the castle."

"Ok then. Any suggestions?" asjed Zamy, kicking the ball back.

"I wish I had a good relationship with my sibling." Said Seviper looking at Skye and Harmony

Melody managed to keep a straight face, but inside her head she burst out laughing.

 

"Thank you, your majesty," she replied, performing a little curtsy.

 

'I'm not sued to being on this side of a royal address' she thought to Hope.

"Well, what are we gonna do at this party?" asked Miles.

"T-t-thank you Skye," sobbed Harmony.

Hope grimaced as she saw Melody curtsy.

'Sorry Hope,' though Melody, still giggling in her head.

"So games, a buffet.... do we wanna disco or something?" joked Miles

"You have a sibling?" Dylan asked

"Well half...he's adopted." Replied Seviper.

"Oh...what's he like?" Dylan asked

"Well..um...we don't really talk." Said Seviper with unease.

"Oh. Sorry" Dylan said

Hope followed after her counterpart.

"You don't have many people around here."

"No, I let them go home for a month. Nothing ever happens this time of year so it's cheaper this way. Rest assured, I have my full security detail though. The fact you can't see them should tell you how good they are."

'My skills must be slipping if I didn't spot them,' she thought unhappily.

"You're welcome Sis," said Skye, patting his sister back.

 

"Can you give me a piggyback ride?" she asked, a little wide eyed.

 

"Er... you're not that much smaller than me..." began Skye.

 

"Pwwwwwweeeeeeesssssss?" The eyes got wider.

"Well you know what they say, there's always someone better than you. Who'd have thought they'd work for a version of me," teased Hope as she entered the court.

'Not me.  You always seemed more the 'Lone Wolf' type!' Melody teased back.

"Thought I get the feeling Ziona will be disappointed!" said Miles.

"That's a fair point."

 

"It looks very sparse without anyone running around," commented the regal Hope.

'If this is the royal version of you, I wonder if we'll ever meet the 'hardline field agent' version?' thought Melody

 

"A little, yes.  But then, if it's quiet, you only need a few well trained servants," she said out loud.

"Exactly.  Just be ready to hide the CD's from her if she suggests it on the night."

"Indeed. It works out rather well."

"Luckily I didn't bring any with me here."

"So.. how large is your Kingdom, your Majesty?"

The princess walked up to a large map on a table.

"You see everything in green? That's what I control. So that would be roughly 1/4 of the continent we're on. My predecessors were wary of imperial overstretch, a caution I inherited."

"I just hope she doesn't bring her's along."
