"Could be.  No harm in finding out," said Melody

"Yeah, you're right!" agreed Miles

Hope walked into the castle's courtyard, pasing under a large arch.

 

"it's kinda creepy, I'm expecting someone to just pop out."

"Well... she thought it would help her... get used to her form... if she 'grows up' that way..." Dylan began

"It seems oddly quiet," said Melody looking around.

Miles floated over to the beachball, the punted it over to Zamy.

"Whoa, what?  This is permanent?" exclaimed Skye.

"Tell me about it. I see the door's open to the main hall over there. Should we.. go in?"

Zamy hit it into the air.

 

"I just hope this all works out."

"No! She's trying it out right now. Seeing how it is" Dylan said

"I guess, yeah," said Melody, seemingly not bothered.  "If there's no guards they can't compaine!"

"No reason why it shouldn't... except our usual luck," said Miles knocking the ball back.

"Oh... oh I see," said Skye.

"There's... one other thing..." Dylan said

"Er... which is?" asked Skye

"True." Hope cautiously ventured inside the hall, the sounds of voices in the distance echoing off the walls.

 

"Well at least someone's here to tell us where we are."

"Yeah, though I'm not sure what else could go wrong at this stage."

"That's good.  C'mon, let's hurry up and find out!" said Melody, starting to hurry forward.

"Don't tempt fate!" warned Miles

Hope tried to keep up.

"Point taken," rpelied Zamy, knocking the ball back.

Melody slowed a bit so Hope could catch up.

Miles giggled, and missed the ball, swimming after it.

"She... doesn't really feel like she fits in..." Dylan said quietly

"W-what..?" asked Skye, a little shocked.

"We're almost there," said Hope, turning a corner and bumping into someone.

"Well at least I'll likely drag you all down with me," laughed Zamy.

"Oh. sorry," said Melody seeing Hope run into someone.  She turned to help her friend steady herself.

"How vindictive of you!" commented Miles, whacking the ball towards Zamy

"She misses how things... sued to be with you two... Plus she isn't the only Melody anymore...nor is she the eldest..." Dylan said worried about how Skye was going to react

Skye slumped to his knees.  "Oh Harmony," he moaned.  "I'm sorry."

Hope steadied herself before seeing that she had bumped into a not-so-amused version of herself, extravagently dressed.

Zamy leaped up and hit the ball down towards Miles.

 

"Well it means I won't be lonely," she laughed.

"Maybe... if you spent some time together with her..." Dylan said looking at Skye worried

Seviper pretends to know what they're talking about.

Melody looked at Hope, then at Hope, then back to Hope, then at Hope again.

 

"Well... uh... this... is kinda unexpected..." she murmured.

"You'll have company n your torment!" siad Miles as he tried to hit the ball but it bounced off his head.

"I... I should... but... now... like this?" asked Skye.  He looked over at Seviper.  "Family issues."
