    Flash is faster than Sonic. I'd love DC and Archie to do a cross-over comic to explain this. You see, Flash outran Superman. Superman's energy is infinite as long as he has sunlight. For every step Barry Allen (Flash) takes, the speed force grows and increases his speed. Flash can also think on the attosecond level. Therefore, Flash is faster than Sonic.

      The official Archie hand guide said Sonic's max speed is mach 1, unless he goes super. In one of the comics, it is said this form increases his speed 1000 times. But we also know the duration depends on how many rings he has. Hypothetically, Sonic could have beaten the early Jay Gerrick Flash. But Barry Allen has been running and expanding the speed force for nearly 75 years of comic history, so clearly he is faster.

      Just so you know, I wasn't going sciencey on my statement earlier I was saying it because I don't want to think of Flash as faster than Sonic (don't do thumbs down thumbs up thing.It's not very nice)

      Honestly... different worlds, different rules. There's no real way to tell in anything. I don't know (and don't really care) how fast the Flash is. Sonic on the other hand... "Fastest thing alive" and all that. As well as some cases showing Sonic can...
