So things we want as a recap Chao Garden Multiple playable characters 2.5-3D view Sonic riders mini-games/races Comic based RPG/story driven game Sonic Adventure level maturity Snacks (I'm hungry :P ) Fast paced, platform yet still able to flow style levels

Sweet, time to brainstorm then.

So essentially, this area is mainly for people who wish to write short stories and such in topics, and then people can read and give feedback on them. Just confirming I understand this correctly, because it's something I could really get into, with all the daydreaming I come up with when listening to music.

Amy, Shadow, Rouge, Blaze, and Silver are all pretty famous O_o it's just the fact that Sonics been the only playable character for a long time now and I'd like to see those guys playable again in the near future. Also if they make another Sonic Riders, I'd be ok with it. I never played the xbox one but that apparently sucked anyway. However, the first one and zero gravity were amazing to me. They could make a racing game like that again, and then have an actual story game with Sonic and the Babylon Rouges where it isn't all racing.

The adventures were a good level. There was time for jokes, but it was serious when it needed to be.

I concur on maturity level. It needs to rise a little bit.

Any game with a chao garden is awsome in my book.

Alice in wonderland would be a weird one but possible.

I don't think Smash and the Olympics count. Not only were they Nintendo exclusive anyway, but it's crossovers between Companies. I Think they mean strictly Sega made Sonic games are going to be exclusives. Like many people have already guessed, it may be another story book type game like the Secret rings and the Black knight, although I don't know many story books so I have no hunch on what's next. Hopefully the 3rd game is one with multiple playable characters again.

That would be hard, considering how Mario typically doesn't have voice wheras Sonic is known for its talkative cutscenes and stuff. It would make Sonic seem boring that nobody talks, and Mario seem weird if they gave them a voice. Plus Eggman and Bowser aren't exactly two villains I can see truly teaming up (even if they do betray each other) to fight Mario and Sonic. Plus the level designs would be extremely hard to create since Sonic is all speed and Mario doesn't really have power-ups to make him that fast. to put either of them in the same playing field as the other would be awkward also. It's like a 50/50 with anything Sonic does if they don't have high paced action as well cause it's so specific on how you can do it that it just becomes a point where it's either right or wrong. With Megaman, he had enemies that could combat his speed, as well as his allies which gave a challenge, and Megaman was just being Megaman so it was cool. I can't see how they could cross Mario in any way without separating the two game styles which at that point is worthless in terms of defining the crossover. I know that contradicts my thing of Sonic heroes play style a few posts back, but that's a different story since its all in one franchise. When putting two together, I think they should pretty much force the two to cooperate at times to show it's actually a thing, rather than just boss battles and all the stages are separate.

I'd say he has to do an actual game with Mario if there's gonna be a crossover. It would be the weirdest thing ever but if they decide to cross, that's where its gotta be. Or i guess megaman too since they already comicafied that.

I feel like if they made a game that was based on the comics, it would have to be a massive mmorpg or a long term project with a series of games. They gotta stop throwing in characters out of the blue with no background knowledge besides either extremely old games or only a few comic sections. When Team chaotix came out in Sonic heroes, I had no idea who the hell they were because I was a kid who didn't know Sonic until I was 5 and sonic adventure was on the dreamcast, and I actually got the comics until around 150 came out, and even then I never read before 150 until I found this site (I love this place so much). If they plan on adding in a bunch of comic characters, I think they need a complete reset in that category and arch it off from the games they make now.

I feel like doing a Sonic heroes type thing mixed in with Sonic Adventure 2 style. Having Knuckles with his Chaotix, Shadow with Rouge and Omega in Gun, and Sonic with Tails and Amy all having their own story-lines that intertwine every now and again, and then (as expected) come together for a final story and battle Eggman or whatever the diabolical villain is. Each story can have different play styles and stage types to match how they would interact with one another, like Shadow and Sonics stories would pretty much be like Sonic heroes in terms of switching between characters to get through certain areas, and then Knuckles Chaotix group could be a choose 2 to go through the level so that players can always have their favorites, yet some levels have certain things you need certain characters to complete to add replayability, such as needing Knuckles and mighty as a pair to break down a wall to a secret area, or Espio to sneak through somewhere and what not. I say through in 10 levels for each story for a total of 30, maybe 3-6 for final act so that each group has a stage + the final battle. Sorry if this seems little over-specific, but it just came to me as I typed it.
