Hey guys! Apparently, the preview pages for Sonic #252 (At All Costs, Part 2) showed up somewhere on Facebook. Although it may not be 100% correct, someone did put up a summary of what was previewed. But be warned; this possibly contains MAJOR SPOILERS for what happens to Sonic's World after 'Worlds Collide': What are your thoughts, guys? (I know there's a chance that it's incorrect, but it's all we've got right now.)

Actually, now that we've seen many (perhaps all) of the new Wisp Powers, I'd like to list them all down here (minus the ones from 'Colours', obviously): - Indigo Asteroid (Both versions) - Crimson Eagle (Wii-U exclusive) - Magenta Rhythm (Wii-U exclusive) - Black Bomb (Wii-U exclusive, Miiverse-only) - Grey Quake (3DS exclusive) - Ivory Lightning (3DS exclusive) So I'd like to know: now that we've seen most of these new powers in-game recently, what are your thoughts on them as a whole and/or individually, guys?

Probably Omochao, mostly for pointing out the painfully obvious. I never found Navi to be that annoying (and after watching some playthroughs of Skyward Sword lately, I think I've found something MUCH more obnoxious). As for Slippy, while his constant 'I need rescuing' speeches do get annoying, I haven't played Star Fox 64 (AKA Lylat Wars for us UK gamers) nearly as much as I've played SA2, Heroes and Generations, so I don't come across them nearly as much as Omochao's 'advice'. ... Oh, right. Let's not get this too off-topic, guys. This is the thread for Sonic Lost World, after all. Not the 'annoying characters' thread. (Sorry if I sound harsh.)

Pretty much. The main difference is that Murphy only appears in the first world of Rayman 3, and then he's... er, disposed of. Unlike Omochao, who never goes away.

Well, to put it simply... Murphy is basically Rayman's version of Navi. He's a fairy/frog that acts as a guide for Rayman in the second and third games. However, while he's a simple guide character in Rayman 2, he becomes a but more... reluctant/annoying in Rayman 3. (But he is voiced by Billy West in that game.) Murphy's also gonna be in Rayman Legends as the obligatory 'touchpad' character for the Wii-U version. (His role in the other versions is 'press this button to cut a rope'. Yeah...)

So, I just saw a trailer for a new Nintendo handheld. It's called... the Nintendo 2DS! Wait--what?!

Perhaps he uses them as a distraction so he can locate the 'magic conch'? (I mean, come on. Surely he would bring more than 3 badniks to the Lost Hex... right?)

This is my first time going, though my brother is the one who planned to go there in the first place. I'm just kinda tagging along. Also, if you're wondering, I previously played a demo of Lost World at Summer of Sonic earlier this month. (It was... interesting.) I might write up my full thoughts later.

You're going to Eurogamer too, huh? If they've got a Lost World demo there, then I guess I'll give the game another go (if the queues aren't ridiculously long, that is).

Yeah, those people must be happy. I personally still think it's too early to completely judge the comic post-crossover, but they clearly have other thoughts. As for the whole 'Wally' thing... who knows? (Though I'm gonna be really upset if his running away was the end of the Naugus arc.) -

Heh, yeah. Though if my theory does turn out to be correct (or close enough), then maybe I could 'theorize' Eggman Nega into the comics! (*evil laughter*) ... Er, anyway. Back on topic: I just posted the preview pages on Max1996's topic post on this issue (it should be directly under this topic post). Go check it out if you want to get more details on Issue 252 so far. You may even get to see what happens to Ixis Naugus... which may or may not disappoint you. -

So... they're bringing back the Sonic Simulator Bots back for Lost World's multiplayer, huh? 'Tis a real shame that we don't get to play as other characters, but it could be worse... I guess.

Hmm... come to think of it, I think I have a theory on what might happen in 'Countdown To Chaos'. (I'll put it in spoiler tags incase you don't wanna read it.) Also, now that I've seen the complete preview courtesy of Bumbleking's forums, I'm definately... intrigued by the 'current' events. (Oh, and Colours DS is now canon.) -

Oh yeah, that was it. I don't know why I wasn't thinking of that, though I haven't read 'Secret Freedom' in a while. Maybe that's why. ... Speaking of Naugus, how much longer do you think he'll be king? I personally see him losing the throne soon, but then it's a question of who'd replace him (if Elias wasn't available for some reason). Either way, I'd also like to see the SFF and KFF team up one day (for reals this time, not just them helping out behind the scenes).

Yeah, it'll be great to see them again, especially since we were left with a cliffhanger for Shard. I wouldn't be surprised if Sonic finds out about them, seeing as he already knows most of the members without knowing about the SFF itself. Also, wasn't the SFF created because the Knothole Freedom Fighters split into Teams Freedom and Fighters? 'Cause if that's the case, then wouldn't they become somewhat redundant due to the KFF supposedly reforming in 'Countdown To Chaos'?

Maybe. Perhaps it could be a one-use only weapon that causes Wily and Eggman to immediately give up and fix each world, and it continues traumatising them even after the events of the crossover... wait, maybe that's a bit too much pain. Then again, anything involving Marine usually leads to absolute pain for anyone involved.

You have a point. In that case, even I'm not sure why they all ran away. Maybe it's just easier to wait until an English version of the cutscene is released.

Seems like no matter where I go, everyone is always mentioning the Tails part of the cutscene. And in fairness... yes, it's very sad to see him portrayed as a coward. Hopefully, it was just for this cutscene, since it did look like the threat was too much for them at that moment. But if Tails is like this for most (if not all) of the game... I'll be having a few words with the writers and/or Sonic Team... In other news, there was a recent interview with Takashi Iizuka were he mentions why the Colour Powers are back, as well as the significance of other characters, such as Knux and Shadow.
