Skye Prower

Melody looked between Zamy and Mina.  "Fine," she snapped, starting to run off.   "I never took my daughter for a coward," called Mina, causing Melody to pause.

"I've just got some cops on assignment keeping an eye on me to make sure I don;t tear apart the universe again," said Skye.   ------------   "I don't care about Miles.  Just about her," said Melody drawing her own knife.   "Oh, I doubt it.  Miles always was a little weak willed.  Always latching onto someone and following them like a pathetic sick puppy," said Mina

"I think my way has had less consequences," said Skye.   (Lier!) ------------   "I dunno how you pulled that off, but thanks," gasped Melody.   "Oh I know you're not our Rosey," said Mina drawing her knife, "but you're just another copy of her... hmm, aren't you the one my husband took a shine too?"

Anna snuggled closer to Spark, but was facing the wrong way to hug back.   -----------   "Is there a Rosey out there who isn't obsessed with hammers and hammering?" asked Mina rhetorically.  She tried to uses a Telekinetic blast against Zamy, but the power fizzled as it hit her, and a moment later the aura around Melody vanished as well, dropping her to the floor.   -----------    "It's kept me alive this long," said Skye.  

"I've nothing to say to you @&^%$!" shouted Melody.  Mina spun round and slapped her daughter, the saw Zamy.  "Rosey!  I didn't expect to see you here."

"Just one to go," said Mina as the energy column was completed.  "You're very quiet daughter.  Nothing to say?  Not going to tell your mother all the stories of what you've been up to?"

"But what if it doesn't stop?" asked Skye, casting another spell.  "I need to find out what it is and what's causing it!"   ---------   "Tell Melody to meet me!" Miles called after

"Maybe," smiled Skye.  "But it would take one strange sandwich to cause that!"   ----------   "Yeah... but you were.... pretty... close to him," said Miles awkwardly.

"I thought you said a Ninetales cursed you," said Skye.   -------   "You are?" asked Miles

Ziona gave a scream as Dominic appeared and leaped away.   -----------   "We need her to... think we're trying to stop her finishing the circle and casting the spell.  Not interfering with it.  So... you need to... distract her," said Miles unhappily.   ----------   "Well... it is something.... what would cause a mutation like that?" wondered Skye

"Once we rescue Melody... er...," Miles looked away.  "I d-don;t w-want you to d-do it, but..."

"Once it's complete, I doubt it.  But... maybe with MElody's help... I can reverse it and send her... wherever she's trying to summon from."

Anna did the same.   ----------   "If we can't fight her... shes making a Summoning circle right?  What happens if that's reversed?" he asked rhetorically.

Anna smiled and went back to sleep.   -----------   "I... might have," whispered Miles.  "But... it could be a long shot."   -----------   "That's not meant to happen!" exclaimed Skye

"Mmmmmm?" Anna stired a little again.

Mina was too intent on creating the next energy pillar to notice Zamy's arrival.

"Maybe someone will," said Miles.  "But we better not hang around."

"See if you can get in touch with some kind of backup?" asked Miles.  "There's gotta be more people that know about combating magic somewhere, right?"

"I'll make sure I s-stay safe," said Miles.  "Do you have any more of those headsets?" he asked Hope.

I know a lot of magic," said Miles.  "S-so I c-could help."   ------------   "Have you actually sided with them?  You could have been a Queen, and instead you're allowing yourself to be their slave?" asked Mina.   "I'm not a slave!  I can do what I want.  Then only time I was enslaved was when I was forced to obey YOU!" retorted Melody as Mina began to summon the next energy pillar.

Anna's eyes flickered open for a moment, then shut again as Spark was still.   --------   Skye continued to cast the spell (uh oh...) ----------   "M-maybe..... uh.... I-I could..." said Miles quietly   ----------   Ziona looked back.  "Where is he?  Where is he?" she squealed.
