Sorry to hear you feel that way Mellowgoat.   Nevertheless, it is not an excuse to swear.

We exist (assuming all this isn't a figment of someone's imagination) but the loudmouth and stranger elements are what get noticed.  You see it everywhere!

"But I dunno why you keep falling," said Stacey.

I know exactly what you mean about wondering if being a Sonic Fan is okay ChaosKaiser.  I once told a friend, who is one of the most easy going, laid back accepting guys I know, that I was a Sonic Fan, and the look he gave me followed by 'I'll have to keep that in mind....' was kinda shocking. I think the reason for the rep goes back to what I said before.  We're not the worst fanbase out there, but we were the first toxic fanbase on the internet, and are now permanently labeled the worst, and all tarred with the same brush.

Well.... it's not my origonal profile pic, I can't even remember what that was now, but it's the first pic I had for when I became Skye! Though I should probibly draw a new one!  

I know what you mean.  It's one of the reasons I really like Sonic in the first place.  It looks all colourful and cartoony on the surface, but dig a little deeper and it can get a bit more dark and serious.  After all, the very basic plot is 'scientist using living creatures to power robots'.

As a Doctor Who fan, I know it basically comes to the same thing in the end.  Dead is dead, and Eggman's intent was to destroy the universe at the time.   So, either way, Eggman is responsible for what happened, and Sonic unable to save them. You were saying you wanted a bit more darkness in the Comics!    

Maybe we should all do that!  Classic looks!  

I have to say I do like the new world we have, and while losing the continuity is a shame, it does mean the new world is more tightly designed, as opposed to the origonal, which had become a little unwieldy.  Inevitable after several years of comics, with continuity not in mind at the start and a very different tone. Having said that, I wish it hadn't been an 'in universe' reboot.  Because when it comes down too it, Eggman murdered a significant portion of the cast and Sonic couldn't stop him.  (And then you had all the official publications going 'This reboot will be great cause...' and that made me feel a little sick.)

The only trouble with a 6 arc story is that is basically taking half a year to tell a single story.  Which is fine if you like the characters involved, but if it's a group you're not keen on, it might get grating. Personally I would like to see some 6 issue stories, but I can see the arguments against them.

Stacey stopped.  "This is weird!"

Stacey grinned and followed up with several kicks and punches.

Stacey looked a little surprised as well, but tried to punch again.

Stacey was too slow to avoid the catch, but his punch had a lot more force in it than normal.

Given the recent changes to the comic situation I am not sure it would be right for me to continue with these reviews.  So I thought I'd ask the rest of you. Basically, three options. 1) Don't worry and keep going. 2) Stop 3) Start from the beginning of the reboot, therefore not treading on toes. What do you guys think?

Stacey sprung forward again, this time with a punch.

Stacey gasped as he hit the floor, shook his head and got back to his feet.

"Tell me what happened," said Ziona, trying to keep her voice level.

Stacey's moves seemed a little sluggish so Dominic was easily able to throw him to the ground.
