    Apparently Ken Penders is going after Sega and Archie again for reason unknown don't be surprise if we have yet another reboot or Sega canceling the series all together.

    he better not be. ken, as much as i'd like to respect you it's hard to when you keep doing garbage like this. and i'm starting to believe people who say he's a man child.

     

    edit: ok guys, i know this is gonna sound silly and wired, but i think panders may be going after archie and sega for not using his characters. after the lawsuit, archie had full rights, but didn't use the characters out of spite, just to avoid paying him. what do you guys think?

    and well I think it was cute when Omega suggested that he and Blaze should burn things together.

    Oh and also in the mini stories in Sonic The Hedgehog 221-222 Nicole and Espio shared a cute moment~

    kind of figured someone would say the espio and nicole thing. thought i ship tails x nicole i really need to get around to reading those issues just for the heck of it.

    Archie CAN use the characters. That's the thing. But they have to pay Penders lots of money and give him part control over how they are played. And even then three characters aren't available at all (Locke is definitely one and I think the other two were Julie-Su and Lara-Su)

     

    Honestly... its not going to happen. Everyone wants Penders to change his mind. But I don't think it's happening. And in the very off chance he does change his mind I don't expect Archie will be taking them back just because of the drama he caused them. I mean... you get sued for using characters of his. Would you then take them back in the chance that he would change his mind again? Or take these characters that caused bad history for you? I wouldn't

     

    Besides... it would probably mean anotger reboot and I'm really tired of the Genesis waves every 25 comics or so

    that's a thing too. i don't think panders mentioned any of that. the money yes, but the part of control no. oh well, at least panders can't say anything to me about me using his characters in my fan fiction series sonic multiverse, nor can he go "i'mma sue you bro" because it's not offical and i'm (sadly) not making money off of it. i'm also pretty sure he's too busy destroying the characters we once knew and loved working on his comic to check devanart or wattpad or even goes to himself him, i wonder if there are any good sonic fan fictions out there that i can get inspiration from.

    While I see things from Pender's point of view somewhat clearly, he's done very little with the characters since, except post widely-panned character art. Hopefully he realizes that nobody wants it soon and maybe sells or gives them back to Archie/Sega or something.

    i agree with you. i'm not the biggest fan of pander but i do understand why he did it since archie didn't have the paper's that said they had the rights to his characters, which is why i want him to give em back. i'm also not happy at reports of him bashing flynn even when flynn tried to do what he said/wanted the comic to be like.

    There's been more than that. No direct family for the main characters (taking out Bernie, Jules, Locke, etc), taking out characters that weren't created by Penders but highly effected by him (Scourge), etc. I like the idea of Archie trying to get more rights out of Sega, but I doubt they will though. However, if they do and the new Archie TV series gets good ratings, I have a feeling a new Sonic Archie show (and maybe Mega Man too) would be on the way. However, as things stand now, it's highly unlikely.

    i hope archie gets the rights to panders characters back. i'm sorry but as much of a jerk as panders may be he made 90% of the roster of the comics, would it kill to try to delay the comics to work something out?

    i would defiantly like to see it. i'm surprised sega hasn't gone with something like this by now...

    After the whole lawsuit, I think that Sega is trying to put some distance between themselves and the comics. I really wish they would though.

    I've actually been really wanting to do something like this on YouTube, but I haven't gotten around to it... my animator/brother tends to draw what he wants, which has nothing to do with this for the most part, and being thrown into college hasn't exactly helped the amount of time I can put into this. 

    As for the actors list you have up there, looks pretty tight for the most part. But don't forget, it'd be nearly impossible to get all the voice actors back (or at least the ones that aren't still voicing characters in Sonic Boom/the games... I don't know who's doing any of that right now), so there'd need to be some recasting in place.

    i wouldn't mind. after what sega's been producing and doing to sonic, i'm about ready to suggest archie buy/share the rights to sonic and do whatever they want to the comic. after the lawsuit i've felt that sega has been controlling the comics more and more, see a video's about the comics not begin able to use mobious to see what i mean.

    That variant cover though... it took me a few moments to realise the green person was Breezie... and it backs me up in why I don't ship Sonic with any of them

    so were getting silver sonic redesinged and a story about ships...ian flynn where are you, i must fist bump you.

    Er... no they didn't.  A pair up of 11 and 16 is squicky.  21 and 26 less so.

     

    Plus, tages in general are not that complicated.  Almost everyone is 15/16 except for Tails (8 normally or 11 in comic's pre-reboot) and Amy (Now her age is complex in the comics!)

     

    For Fiona waiting for Tails to be older, sure, that works.  My point is that won't happen in the comics as time in the comics doesn't really pass.  (Trip into space not withstanding)

    yeah, that's what sucks. i hate how they never age so much. kind of the reason why i want to ignore the whole thing, it's just, it doesn't make scene, there age. tails is smart and acts older, and other stuff. ugh my head hurts and i'm having a bad day.

    I wouldn't say the cracks are there.  However, I'd say the possibility of some cracking could well be there.  It's likely there was a 'Redeem Fiona' arc in there somewhere, but I doubt she and Tails would get together, simply because of the age gap.  Putting a 11 year old with a 16 romantically is NOT something a comic like this should show.

    they kind of did it with tails x mina. also guys, i'm gonna be honest here screw the ages in sonic's universe. there complicated as all h-e-double hockey sticks. tails acts older then an 8 year old with his inteligence and if it wasn't for the character's outright saying what age they are i would have no idea. a 30 years later with tails x fiona is the least i would ask for or fiona just waiting for tails to be old enough.

    Err...I very highly doubt that since the last thing that happened with Fiona was her getting herself arrested just to bust Scourge out. Seems like a sign of extreme loyalty rather than a sign of a cracked relationship

    it was at the end though where scourage took her place as in charge, and she seemed to not like it so much. also i see scourage going on anther "i'll destroy the world just for the fun of it" mode and attacking his team mates again. either way scourage living up to his "big plans" for sonic's world would have been nice. Now he's probably going to be a shell of himself in panders comic which looks like a cross between a fan fiction and bad fever dream after looking at wired pictures of sonic and the gang.

     

    also i would like to see the touching moment of tails finding out her backstory and feeling bad for her, along with a moment where he joins the distructix's because he feels unapperated or fiona finally gets to him and makes him do it.

    one thing i think would happen is tails x fiona. like my friend on g plus said, there were hints of this happening, with cracks in fiona and scourage's relationship, and i strongly believe if panders or whoever never caused where the comics are today we'd be seeing a comic where fiona redeems herself and her and tails get together.

     

    and for those saying but tails will be with mina in 30 year's, flynn said that 30 years isn't the exact future, but is a possibility...

    sorry i'm once again bringing up the ken panders lawsuit, but am i the only one wondering how the story would have played out if the lawsuit never happen? what are some things you think would have happen if panders never sued (or archie)

    Its about as close as saying we are all related because we're humans or Sonic and Amy are related because they are hedgehogs. They are all related to the aliens... I mean Babalonians yes but that is distant ancestry. Its not like they had the same parent or grandparent

     

    So again, you're right they are related in that sense but it goes back too far for it to be closely related. 

    oh i see. i kind of don't but do see the jet x wave thing. only thing holding it back is the two act like brother and sister (in sonic riders)

    Reason: Well... I had to put a normal one in somewhere. So yeah... They're the only two that really seemed to have the powers they have (until Gold came along but I don't ship her yet because I need to see more of her first) So yeah... SilverXBlaze because I likes it

    Reason: Nothing like a good old good guy-bad guy ship. Plus... they got married! It's canon they did in AoSTH. Don't believe me? Go watch it. I believe it was episode 13. There was no divorce scene on screen so... they could still be married for all we know. Besides... if you watch Sonic X, Eggman is a little too nice to Sonic and his friends (but mostly Sonic) for wanting to destroy him so... you never know (don't tell me it's silly to ship these two because I don't care what other people think about it)

It started when our own Locke was posting pictures of Sticks a lot in the Last Post Wins thread. I ended up jokingly saying "LockeXSticks".     alright, i know this is going to get some people mad at me but because the sonic SCANF community didn't mind my which ships did you want to see list, i'll give you a top 5 ships that i ship from the sonic universe. and because i'm bad at intros let's just get into it.

    number 4 : sonic x amy (in the boom universe)

    sorry amy in the games and comic but boom amy seems a bit more mature and non stalker-ish or obsessed with sonic, i mean sure it's there but she keeps it a secret while game and other forms of amy mind as well hold a sign bigger then a billboard saying "I LOVE SONIC!" or "SONIC SENPAI NOTICE ME!" also boom sonic seems to have the same feelings as well.

    number 3: shadow x amy

    shadow is 50 years old my foot sonic fan base. Shadow doesn't look 50 and let's be honest, the age's in sonic's universe are complicated as all heck. if it wasn't for the characters just outright saying there name or it begin in there bio i wouldn't know what there age would be. And no i don't ship these two because of amy accidentally hugging shadow, i ship it because well, who's to say amy or shadow won't have more encounters in the future. also flynn if you make amy x tails cannon i swear to god I'll-techinical difficulties

    sonic  x blaze number 2 

    i don't mind sonic x sally that much, but something about sonic x blaze just shouts "that would work" for me. Maybe it's some of the shipping hints in the games, or maybe it's because looking back i kind of see blaze and silver as more of a brother and sister relationship, but i wouldn't mind one bit if these two got together. Sorry sally but that dude who headcannoned that you're not into anyone post genesis wave is onto something...not to mention you probably were brain washed by sega...

    number 1: tails x fiona and tails x nicole

    i'm sorry guys but i can't decide. number 1 has to be a tie.

    tails x fiona because i feel bad for fiona fox. her betrail and slapping tails is because she was a train wreak, with a bad past and childhood begin left behind by the freedom fighters. If tails can just understand this, i have a feeling the two are gonna get together, or would have. besides, i see tails as a forgiving guy, and he didn't know about her past.

    nicole and tails because while nicole is an AI, who's to say she can't or won't become real someday? other then that the two are tech sabby and i know i'm not the only one in this fandom who wants to see tails cheer up or talk to nicole when she's feeling left out because she's an AI and not a real begin like all the others. If sega still doesn't want ships to happen i hope flynn can at least do that, and give the fans at least a close enough moment to a ship with the two, that and there isn't much evidence of the two begin anything more then friends, and standing next to each other doesn't count unless there blushing or something...on a final note now with fiona MIA, i definatly want this ship to become cannon in the comics.

    Um... it's coming out 14th of October. Whether that's a delayed date or an actual date, I don't know but that's when it's supposed to come out

    Yeah, I got fooled by the release date on some websites. I think I got it. Its the one week break we get every two months. And since Sonic Boom ended, there is another week break.

    not gonna lie i kind of wish sonic boom lasted a little longer...

    what funny off panel strips do you want to see in the future. i know it's 99.9 precent impossible but i want there to be one where tails is taking a picture/selfies with the distructic's or all the ken panders characters and ian flynn or sonic come up to him and say "what's the meaning of this!?!" and tails just shrugs saying "what? i know i'm not the only one missing them..."

    If he really get such job, he should make an RPG (similar to Battle and Chronicle). Considering how long he has handled Knothole Freedom Fighters, teamwork and character development are probably his strongest points.

    personally i wouldn't mind. i think sonic should get anther RPG, just as long as panders doesn't accuse sega of something begin his creation or someone else decides to sue.

    oh yeah i forgot about that tbh, doesn't help that the "incident" i keep somehow bringing up has caused sega to keep a closer eye on the comics, hence changes like the reboot and not mentioning mobious.
