Not much. Lazy student's. But I still admire their power to push the test that I KILLED myself on the weekend to learn 3 weeks ago to the week ahead. *sigh* Now I say I'm the lazy one.

Math problem:

If 8 to the power of m is 27, what does 4 to the power of m equal? (8^m = 27; 4^m = ?)

Don't give me the answer, just tell me the steps to work it out.

This could take mental math or paper and pencil. Try starting with (8^m=2; 4^m=3) and work on your way there to get the answer.

I'll give an example. 2 to the power of 2 is the same as 2 squared or 4

So in english math power is the same as 2 × 2 right?

That's correct. I used to like math, because it helps me to increase my video game advantages. \(^o^)/

Uh... actually no

Let's see

3 squared is the same as 3 to the power of 2 whis is the same as 9

4 squred is the same as 4 to the power of 2 which is the same as 16

2 cubed is the same as 2 to the power of 3 which is 2 X 2 X 2 which is 8

Etc

Oh, that's what NMS was getting at by 2 X 2. Yes, Dylan's correct, based on what he described. ^_^
